I stared blankly at the ceiling.
From past one hour I am in my bed doing nothing.

I should probably do something,

Letting out a dramatic sigh, I lazily stood up and grabbed my phone from the night stand. I had switched it off for some unknown reason.

My eyes widened when I saw several missed calls from Ava and there was also a text.

Ava: Vivi girl u there?
Why the hell did you switch off ur phone. Anyways me and Lily are in the cafe come fast!

It's been 15 minutes since she had texted me.
I ran toward the bathroom and splashed some water on my face. And then wore a green sweatshirt and a pair of white pants.

Quickly grabbing my phone i run out of my room and hurry down the stairs and stumble a bit.

Mom had gone out and dad was in the living room.

"Hey dad! I am going out to the Hideouts!"

"Alright! Stay safe, love!" He yelled back as I opened the door.

I quickly closed the door and ran as fast as I could.

'The Hideouts' is Lily's family cafe. Cassandra, Lily's elder sister runs it and sometimes we help her as it is always full and busy. The place itself looks as if it is straight out of Pinterest.

I panted as I stopped to take a catch my breath. The cafe wasn't that far so I made it there within a few minutes. I stood out for a while until my breathing rate came back to normal and then walk inside.

As soon as I walk in, Cassandra who stood by the counter grinned at me and i wave at her.

"Vivian! The girls are waiting for you." I smiled nodding. Cassandra is a really kind person. She is a supportive sister to Lily and takes care of her providing everything Lily needs.

"Thanks Sandra!"

I walked towards our usual spot near the huge window where Ava and Lily were sitting.

"Hey, Sorry I am late." I sigh sitting down. Ava looked at me with narrowed eyes while Lily, folded her arms looking at me. I grinned sheepishly.

Whoops!

"What happened? Don't tell me you once again switched off your phone again just to think!" Ava enquired.

I bit my lips and sighed once again.
"Yeah... I was actually in my uhhh.. Bed." I explained with a nervous laugh.

Ava's expression changed in an instant.
"What's wrong Vi? You seem stressed. Is it about Courtney's friend?" She questioned.

I shook my head, "No it's not that..."
