The faint sound of dripping water echoed somewhere afar.
I wanted to open my eyes and see what was happening.

But it seemed as if both my eyes were glued. I couldn't open my eyes.
The noise grew louder and louder,
I wait for some moments before I slowly shook my leg. The slight movement causing pain to shoot up in my limbs.

With great difficulty, I slowly opened my eyes. All I could see was darkness.
I wait for a few moments hoping my vision would clear but when it doesn't I look around and realise I was in a dark room.

The sound of dripping water became louder.
I wait for a few more seconds before slightly moving my fingers. My body was throbbing and my head felt as if it was hit with something heavy.

I lay still on the cold concrete floor. I was on lying on my stomach and desperately wanted to sit up.

After a few seconds I move my hand and felt cold wetness caressing my fingers. The floor was wet. Maybe that's where the water was.

Water. I need water.

My throat was dry and i felt too exhausted. I move my hand towards my face and tasted the wet liquid.

But my face twisted up in disgust at the nasty taste. It smelled like shit and tasted as if it was straight out of gutter.

I cough. Pain shooting up in my chest at the movement. With the support of my right hand I sit up slowly, groaning.

I furrowed my brows rubbing my forehead. It was too dark but sunlight fell through the small broken part of the ceiling. I looked down concentrating hard at my legs which felt numb.

After a lot of concentration I realize my pant was torn. I touch the visible skin and groan out in pain. It seemed as if my skin was peeled off.

I then look down at my hands and my right hand was overed in dried blood. And i had no nail in my fifth finger and thumb. My toes and hands were full of small scars.

But it didn't hurt much.

I sigh licking my dry lips only to taste blood.

I tried to recall the things which happened after I was bought here but the last thing I remember was passing.

I stare at the sunlight which fell on the middle of room.

It was bright and even in the darkest room it looked promising.
It reminded me of her.
