I stared at my calculus paper and sighed.

Mr. Brown gave us a test and I got a big F.
This is were I lack. Calculus

Almost everyone is good except me. Mom will definitely lecture me about how I should work hard and get good grades. I do work hard and try to do my best but I guess my brain is dumb.

"Ms. Collins. Do stay back after the class we need to talk. " Mr. Brown said and everyone looked at me. I nodded my head, embarrassed.

I know what he wants to talk about. My grades. I internally groaned. Why me? Whyyyy?!

Today Alex wasn't present. And he also didn't speak to me yesterday. Strange.

Kyle was doing something on his phone.
I sighed and just then the bell rang. Mr. Brown dismissed everyone and the class was empty now. Kyle glanced at me before walking away.

I walked to Mr. Browns table.
"Well... I guess you know why I called you here." He started and I nodded.

"Ms. Collins, you need to work hard in Calculus. You have really bad grades. "

"I will try my best... " I replied.

"Ms.Collins I know that you can do this. You can take help for someone. " I looked at him and sighed.

"Don't be discouraged. I guess you can ask Mr. Lewis, for help. He is really good in math. "
I looked at him with wide eyes.

I know that Kyle is good in math. But, will he tutor me? Probably not.

"Alright. I will ask Kyle. Thank you, Mr. Brown." I replied making him smile.

"Your welcome. You are getting late. "

I nodded my head. "Have a good day ahead! " I smiled and rushed out of the class.

I know my next mission which is way too hard.

Ask Mr. Grumpy pants for help!

The classes went by as usual. And soon it was lunch break.
I walk inside the cafeteria and see Ava and Lily waiting.

With a smile I greet them and sit down.

"Ahem... So were is your lover boy? " Lily wiggled her eyebrows, mischievously.

I frowned. "Who? "

"Oh come on! Kyle, of course! " Lily laughs.

"Lover boy? " I asked. What does that even mean?

"Yeah. But where is he? Is he not joining us? " Ava questions.

I shake my head. "I don't know. I didn't see him after calculus. "
They both nodded.

"Also I had calculus test yesterday. " I started and Lily perks.

"What! How did it go? Did you do well? "Lily bombards me with questions and I laugh nervously.
