Love in the rain

There he is James Willow on the same rooftop were we met last. But he is just laying there looking at the stars of the night. I walk over to him and sit down by him, as I sit and I see him up close he looks so helpless and lost in his thoughts. I wonder what he is think about It is still raining but not heavy more like a cool mist. I start to lay down to see what it looks like from his perspective. When I lay down I spot the little dipper and big dipper and I point at them to show him. I say "that is the big dipper and if you follow it it leads to the little dipper you see?" James answers with " do you ever think about how stars are made i mean i bet someone knows but its a mystery to a lot of people including me." I say "I mean we are all just people living on a rotating ball floating in space orbiting the sun but doesn't that just makes life so much more beautiful don't you think." James says " I should probably get going I have work early tomorrow." he says. " Okay i guess i will see you around." with that he gets up and walks towards the rooftop door. Before he gets to the door I ask him in a loud voice "hey James,do you think you would ever want to go get a coffee with me?" "You don't have to" I add after. "I would love to tulip." He says. And once he said that I felt like I was levitating. I had goose bumps all over and all I could add one was "ok" and then he left with the biggest smirk I have ever seen.

After I'm done looking at the stars I go back into my apartment and take a long steaming shower. Change into my pjs and try to sleep but my mind is not sleeping it keeps on going and going on about James and coffee and work. I want my mind to be quite but it need listens. I just lye there in my bed staring at the ceiling smiling while I think about James and willow.

The next morning I wake up in a good mood I make myself a cup of coffee and grab my phone to check my messages. I open the messages app and i see James's number and I internally giggle like a teenage girl.I open it and it says..

"Hey tulip I know your probably not awake right now but I wanted to ask you if later today you would be up to go get the coffee?"

My stomach was doing front flips now. How can he just effortlessly be so cute and charming. I am think of what to say I remember I have nothing to do today so I  have a clear schedule today so I answer with...

" Hi James I'm glad you texted and I would love to have coffee with you later today just call me when you can or text me the details!"

He's so perfect I can't believe a guy like him actually exist. I can't wait to see him today but then I réalisé I don't have anything to wear. So I call my bestie Ciara and tell her to come over it's a emergency. She rushes over and I know it's her here because she does this knock it like knock knock knock......knock knock. So I open the door and she says "okay what is the emergency girl because you look good?" I say "I need an outfit stat" " ohh that type of emergency, alright then let us get to work." She says as she walks in.

I try on outfit after outfit after outfit until I try on this one it a pair of baggy jeans with a tight red and black striped sweater with my red converse and a zip up hoodie. I tell her " this one is perfect!" I spin in a circle and jump out of happiness. She says "I think my work here is done."I tell her "thank you so much CiCi I love you I owe you!!" Ciara says " I got to go to girl but I love you too see you at work on Monday." She say. After that she leaves. I check my phone to see if he has gotten back to me and as I pick up my phone to check it say 1 notification. So I open messages and I see his text...

"Ok so I was thinking maybe 2:30 pm at the cafe around the block
from our apartment complex?"

I answer him " ok sounds good see you then!"

After I text him back I realize

Im having a coffee date with my dream guy.
