CHAPTER 17

KITTU'S POV:

This trip was a dream come true for me. No assignments, no packed schedules, most relieving no annoying paparazzi, this trip will be the most memorable.

However I have started noticing certain changes in Koki, his behavior, the way he now cares more, he spends more time with us maybe he has finally realized that family is everything, this bunch of people are going to stay by your side forever, no matter what.

He has become alot more mature, year 2020 did bad to him, honestly I would label that as the worst year of his life. Covid was one thing but he suffered in many other ways too.

Thinking about the present, today he was visibly jealous of that tour guide guy. He tried hitting on Zo indirectly even I felt that everytime I tried to make a move to turn him down but he was unfazed, that guy was smitten by her.

After the ferris wheel ride Koki and Zo were left behind and by one look at her face I instantly knew something happened. With all the thoughts of past and present coming and going I turned off the shower tap and was done with a hot, relaxing bath.

I thought Zo must be asleep by the time I would finish showering, as we all were equally tired but she wasn't there in the the room. As I walked out in the living room searching for Zo, I spotted both Zo and Koki sitting by the pool, talking.

'God how could they still have energy for anything else'. Although I was really interested of what was keeping my bro and best friend up this late at night but I was more sleepy and anyways Zo is going to tell me about the convo they had so I better get my beauty sleep else I'll end up looking like a raccoon next morning.

I woke up early next morning cause I slept early last night. I tried to get some more sleep but ended up twisting and turning in the bed waking up Zoya in the process. I am a terrible human.

"Ugh I am sorry babe, please go to sleep again. I am really sorry."

" Will you shut up, tell me what time it is?"

"It's almost 7:30."

"K, fine lets get freshen up, everyone will be up by the time we get ready."

" I see and here I was feeling guilty that I woke you up." I shrugged getting off the bed and putting my glasses on.

" Well you should keep feeling guilty for the rest of the day cause you did wake me up." She glared at me and went to the restroom.

'Goodness this woman is so not a morning person, she hates waking up, she gets worked up and irritated over everything in the morning'. I sympathize with her future husband.

We both took our sweet time getting ready, deciding each other's outfits and looking for perfect accessories to go with our outfits. We were finally ready after almost an hour.
