Chapter 9

I woke up, eat breakfast, got dressed, and got on the bus on a journey to the school. I met up with Jackson, along with his friends, in the gym. I then gave Jackson a kinda signal to let him know we need to talk. He then told his friends to go for a minute and I went over and sat down next to him." So what did that kid say about me and why did he come running toward me tying to punch me?!" He looks at me, as if guilty, and says," Him and I did a bet on wether you would go out with me or not and since I won the bet he has to give me twenty dollars." I looked at him, surprised, and said " Oh, so you only asked me to be your girlfriend just so you can win a bet!" He then said abruptly," No I.." I interrupted him and said," Just save it!" I ran off immediately and didn't look back. When I got home I ran and just flopped on my bed looking up at the ceiling thinking about if he didn't really like me or if he did. I then felt something cold run down my cheek. I was officially crying! I didn't know why he would do this and why he didn't tell me in the first place but I don't think he's the right guy! I won't find out till the morning, but I want to hear his little excuse! If it's at bad excuse then I give him a piece of my mind!
