You chuckled uncomfortably for a bit
"You know , we should get to know each other some time! I don't want my guests to feel threatened , now do we?" King Candy did his distinctive laugh once again
"What? No- not at all! I don't feel threatened!" You said nervously , you didn't want any misunderstanding to happen or come across as too awkward
"Oh Y/n , you're so silly! , but you don't need to worry! If i was anyone i would even say i'm starting to enjoy your company!" He chuckled with a small mocking tone on the end of the phrase
"So do as i say for now and rest assure is that you'll be out of the fungeon!" He twirled his fingers and tapped with his foot to the floor with a hint of impatience to it
"And as i said earlier! I have big plans...!"
You nervously lifted your view up as you heard the King mention "Big Plans" , He looked unthreatening, but for all codes..he sure did know how to give you a scare with the amount of power he held in this game.
"Follow me Y/N" King Candy snapped his fingers.
You looked around kinda surprised at this attitude , but decided to just go along it and follow him.
"Where are...we going?" You looked around kinda confused from all the sudden motion
"We're going to get you a nice team for your search! Remember when I told you about my royal patrol?"
You then got the idea , so you just continued following him without saying another word
King Candy then opened a big door leading outside the castle but not abandoning the terrains , after some following you finally reached your final destination
"As I was saying..." You heard the king clear his throat "Y/n i'm proud to present you to the royal patrol!" He extended his hands signaling enthusiastically at the reveal of...two police officers sitting and doing absolutely nothing but eating some candy.
The silence was loud , comically loud , but the two police officers quickly got up and standed straight saluting King candy.
"¡Yes sir , Hello my king!" They both said
King candy's face then dropped and as he got closer you heard a slight mumble and whisper from King Candy to the officers saying "We'll talk about this later".
The King looked back at you and smiled nervously , clearly embarassed about this whole situation.
you couldn't imagine what kind of punishment they could get for being seen slacking off , but it was probably something silly.
"My king! What brings you here? We were just uh...still searching for the big red guy!" The taller one said as he quickly hitted the other with the elbow signaling him to talk
"Oh! Yeah! He totally didn't get away...yet" the donut one said
King Candy then glared at them with the most menacing look you had ever seen on someone who liked pink...
He then quickly shifted from mad to a happy face , King Candy nervously chuckled and cleared his throat again.
"These are Wynnchel and Duncan! They're both so pleased to meet you Y/N!" King Candy patted you , encouraging you to talk to them
"Well uh...Hi!' You spoke awkwardly.
"Hello there! I don't think we've seen you around here before...."Wynchell said getting close to your face with a suspicious look
"Oh! I uhm-" before you could even answer you heard more words come from the other one
"Are you another intruder?" Duncan stated quite loudly while interrupting your answer
"Yeah! What if they came along with Wreck it Ralph uh?"
You then heard another voice coming
