Jaden and I had both broken up with Josh and Jaden about a week ago. And it was made clear on social media that we were over. I deleted most pictures with Josh on my Instagram due to it honestly hurting me to see his face all over my page. Jaden's been staying with me till he moves into his new apartment next week. It's honestly been really nice hanging around him. I sat on my couch watching TV and I saw Jaden walk out. "Good afternoon sleeping beauty." I said with a small laugh. He gave me a small look but then laughed as well. Jaden walked over and he fell into the couch next to me. "How'd you sleep?" He asked. "Good." I said softly. "That's good." He said in the same tone. Honestly, I don't know what it is about Jaden... but he has the presence around him, and it's like... I can never be sad around him. He just has the happy energy that rubs off on me. It's so nice especially with the recent events.

"You okay? You got really quiet." Jaden said. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said softly. "Okay." He said just as soft. "I'm going into the studio today... Wanna come?" He asked. "I'd probably just be in the way." I said. "What!? Never! Plus it's just gonna be me today. I'm probably just gonna write for awhile." He said. "I don't wanna distract you." I added. "You won't." He said. "You sure?" I asked. "Yes, of course! It would be so nice having you come." He said with a wide smile. "Okay." I said softly.

We both got ready, and then we headed to the studio.

In the studio I sat across from Jaden, and I would occasionally watch him, the way his facial expressions would chance when he really liked, and disliked something he wrote. "Okay, what do you think of this..." He paused for a moment before singing, "so what I'm broken, and my heart is frozen, all my words are choking, I'm so over life. So what I'm broken knew this love was poison, all these wounds are open, I'm so down tonight." He smiled at him. "AMAZING!" I said and he smiled. "Yeah?" He asked. I nodded. My phone then began blowing up. "Is everything okay?" Jaden asked seeing as my phone wouldn't stop buzzing. "Uhhh... I'm not sure." I said.

I grabbed my phone and looked at it. It's was message after message from all my friends. "What's going on?" He asked. "I don't know. Everyone is asking if I've been on social media..." I said. "Weird." Jaden said. He grabbed his phone and opened up TikTok the first video his eyes went wide. "You've gotta be fucking kidding." He said. "What?" I asked. "Josh and Nessa just went public with their relationship." "Are you serious!?" I asked. Jaden flipped his phone so I could see the video. "It's been less than a week since our relationships publicly ended. How are they doing shit like this!?" I asked.

I looked over and saw Jaden was hurt. It was the first time I had really been seeing him upset. I reached over and grabbed his hand. He looked up at me. "I'm sorry Jaden." I said softly. "Yeah, me too." He said trying to smile but still looking hurt. "Here, I have an idea." I said. "What's that?" He asked. "Hand me your phone." I said softly. He handed me his phone. And I set it down on the seat behind me along with mine. "You're an artist right? Like you actually write your own stuff?" I asked. "Yeah, of course. Why?" He asked. "Well, if we're gonna be treated like shit, you may as well get something out of it. Do what you're best at, and just let your creative juices flow." I said. He let out a small laugh. "How are you just so able to see something good out of all of this?" He asked. "Cause I have spent a week with you." I said. He laughed again. "We're in this together whether we like it or not." I said with a small laugh. He smiled at me.

I sat there, still watching as Jaden wrote more and more. The way he would scrunch his nose when he didn;t like something, and how would stare at the paper until he got a new idea. The quiet humming he would make to see how it would sound. It honestly seemed as if writing music was just so natural for him. Jaden's small smile turned to a slight frown, and he crumpled up the paper he was writing on, and threw it across the room. "Damn J, what did that paper ever do to you." I said. He laughed a little. He stayed quiet. "I thought you were liking what you wrote." I said. "I do, but, it's not something I'd ever be able to release." He said. "And why not?" I asked. "I just can't." He said. I got up and walked over to where the paper was. I picked it up and uncrumpeled it.

"Don't- read it-" He said, but he was too late as I had already started reading it.

"I'm through, I've had enough, of you, I'm giving up, drunk again tell you don't pick me up, love is dead and I don't trust anyone."

I read one line of the whole thing, "Jaden this is amazing, why can't this be a song you could release?" I asked. "It-It just can't." He said. "Jaden, this song is great already. And you fans would really love a song like this. Believe me, I know." I said. "It just doesn't seem right. Releasing a song like this." He said. "I would." I said with a small laugh and he smiled. "I don't know." He said softly. "Just keep working on it, as if you were going to release it, see where that gets you. Maybe you'll end up really liking it." I said. "Yeah, maybe." He said. I handed him the paper then sat back down across from him.
