It was another early morning and the Institute's gates were open together with the wards.
Carriages after carriages coming in, horses after horses. People dressed for an occasion. It was The Warrior Ceremony. The fifth year were getting their honorable Greyenvir warrior attire.
Everyone was excited and of course, the next day was the first day of spring break so they'd get to leave to go to their homes, to their families.
People were greeting each other, hugging, catching up and the graduates were seated at their section waiting for the event to start. They were all dressed up and looking beautiful and handsome. They had robes on top of their outfits. They were all smiles and joy.
"I can walk on my own." Bella said as she walked while being held by Mia on one side and Daya on the other, "I'm fine!"
She was weak and pale, paler than before, thinner than ever. Her hair was let down, bone-straight over one shoulder and the rest flowing on her back. She was wearing one of Mia's dresses and they had to alter it to fit her. It was long-sleeved to cover her hands and her scars and since it was an off-the-shoulder type, they had to cover her with a scarf. But overall, Mia chose a dress with less fabric for her to carry and for her skin to take.
"We don't care. We're going to hold onto you all the while." Mia said and Bella just smiled, her smile small and weak. "I'm glad the healer let you get a break today."
Mia and Daya had pleaded with the healer to let them have her for the day, just for the day because they were about to leave for spring break. After a long while of throwing words at one another, Daya won the debate.
"Fine. You'll come to get her after her morning healing session" the healer had said and Bella had argued with a moan. "...or maybe not at all."
"Fine. She'll have her morning session obediently." Daya had eyed Bella and she had cuddled under her blankets. "Good girl."
"Now, leave my infirmary!" the healer had ranted and Daya had walked away with a victory grin.
"Wow, Daya!" Marie was impressed.
"What can I say? I have a way with words." Daya had told them.
"But, I didn't understand what you meant with the broom closet." Mia said.
Daya had laughed. "This is why it's good to know of everyone's weakness."
"Wait!" Marie said then laughed.
"It seems our healer loves fucking his man in a broom closet and leaving her patients unattended." Daya said and Mia finally caught up.
"How did you know that?" Mia asked surprised.
"Bella has been of good help." Daya said.
"How did Bella give such information..."
"Could you please stop asking so many questions and thank me for getting us time to spend with Bella?" Daya said as she kept walking.
"Wait!" Mia remembered. "What do you mean 'know everyone's weakness'?"
Daya had smiled and turned away.
Although Arabella never enjoyed her healing sessions, she knew she had to go through them to leave the infirmary for the day. They had found her drenched in sweat and tears and Marietta had taken it upon herself to wash her and dress her. In no time, she had looked presentable.
"Let's just add a little color to your cheeks." Marie had dashed a sponge full of blush powder.
"...and a little color on your lips." Mia had painted her lips in a blush pink color to hide the paleness.
