Master Clint was having the first class that day. Bella did her best not to delay this time. She arrived early and grabbed another seat after hers was supposedly taken.
To her goodwill, Master Clint didn't question her attire again, he didn't as much as look at her when he jumped in, at the front, catching everyone's attention, even hers. Maybe he didn't pay attention to her because she did all she could to stay away from his burning gaze.
She'd spent the rest of yesterday thinking about his orange-to-brown eyes that she thought were a drizzling hot flame on every part of her sense.
It's normal. She'd told herself. Clearly, every female on campus is talking about how good he looks. It's normal... right?
She got back to her senses when Caldor shot her a look. She wasn't concentrating.
Her eyes widened.
To her luck, a trainee arrived at the door and everyone's gaze landed at him. He was wearing his Order's attire. He looked to be of the proceeding years. And he was very beautiful. Too beautiful, every female whispered and giggled when he passed. She had seen that reaction yesterday when she sat at the huge library. And they were doing it again, right now.
"Cade!" Caldor exclaimed after turning to him.
Bella thanked the heavens that his attention was gone.
"Are you done peeping?" Caldor gave him a knowing smirk.
"Uhm..." Cade cleared his throat. "I was told to come introduce myself to the first years. I didn't do it yesterday on the assembly grounds."
"Mmh...too many words for a false excuse, but go on...take a look inside."
Cade smiled to avoid blushing, his dimples showing off. Now the giggling turned into flirtatious squeals.
He started, "My name is Cade León. I'm the Supreme prefect." Throughout his introduction, his eyes scanned the whole room, looking, searching. "I'm from the Lion's Roar Order." Because he was head prefect, he was to also put on his Order's attire.
"You can definitely roar for me." One of the girls exclaimed a little too loud and the others giggled.
Cade smiled but ignored them. "I'm... uh..." His eyes landed on the person he was looking for and he looked away with a small successful and pleased grin.
The action went too fast, no one noticed it, except those with high observant abilities, Arabella being one of them.
"Keep up! Keep up, Cade!" Caldor teased him.
"Yeah... I'm obliged to help each one of you if you ever need anything."
The girl now sitting in front of Bella - her other roommate apart from Marietta - teases. "Oh, rurrr... you could help me with many things."
Cade lifted his eyebrow in a smile towards her and gave a small bow. "I'll be honored to help you with anything - " he flirted back.
Caldor cleared his throat. "Clearly."
"- all of you." Cade brushed the act away, then secured one last gaze on that one same person he tried too hard to look for when he arrived at the door of the class, before looking at Caldor.
"You can go now, Cade."
Cade gave a small bow before he left.
Bella looked at Marietta who stared at her book with a small secret smile. Even in her brown skin, there was a pinch of pink throughout her face and neck.
"Now that we've all gathered back our minds, let's get back to class." Caldor secured a look at the blushing Marietta before looking back to Bella again. Before he could say anything again...
