You had finished putting your furniture into your new home. You had moved to get away from your old town. There were great memories there, but you had to go. Your desire for adventure demanded it, and you listened.
But you were scared.
You were scared to go out and talk to your new neighbors, due to your social anxiety.
You were currently brushing your hair, humming 'Everybody Loves Somebody' by Dean Martin, when someone rung the doorbell. You set the brush down quickly, calling "Coming!"
You were greeted with the warm, soft eyes of none other than Wally Darling. You didn't know his name, you just knew that he looked absolutely gorgeous. His blue hair looked either soft as a pillow or hard as a rock, you couldn't tell. He waved with a smile.
"Hello, neighbor!"
His soft, calming tone was enough to make your entire face go red. A warm feeling arose in your chest.
