For once, Alice was not the first one to leave a party, much to Henry's excitement. She even had wine, so now the two siblings were drunk. It's one thing to have one drunk Tudor, but two? Bless us all, especially the poor dessert table that they completely ransacked of cake.

Mackenzie was trying her hardest to keep Alice somewhat in line, but with this being one of the very few times she drank, she had no idea what her limit was.

"Alice, drink this water," she tried holding a cup up to her lips, but it was pushed away in a fit of giggles, clanking on the floor as water spilled everywhere.

"Oh, my darling Kenzie. You are my bestest friend, you know that?" She leaned in and began playing with her hair, making Mackenzie chuckle.

"And you're my best friend. I think we should go to bed now, what do you think?"

"Henry!" Alice shouted to her brother, who was sitting at his throne. "Should I go to bed?"

"No!"

Alice turned to Mackenzie and shrugged.

"The king said no."

Mackenzie rolled her eyes at her antics, making the girl chuckle before her eyes became fixated on the man by Henry.

"What is it, Alice?"

"Isn't Marcus just so," Alice trailed off and waved her hands, "attractive? I mean, look at him," she sighed dreamily. Mackenzie just nodded in agreement.

"He is, and he's all yours."

Her eyes widened and a big grin broke out on her face.

"He is mine!" Alice stopped speaking, suddenly feeling very tired. Mackenzie took this as a sign to help her back to her rooms and let the girl continue her drunken ramblings.

"I need to tell him, Kenz!"

"Tell who, what?" Mackenzie asked, although she had a general feeling what the answers to her questions were.

"Marcus," she whispered. Alice looked around the passage way, then back at Mackenzie. "That I love him!"

"Maybe tomorrow," Mackenzie then assisted Alice back to her rooms faster, not wanting her friend to make a fool of herself at this moment.

"But I want to now," she whined like a child and then sat down on the floor. Her best friend groaned and tried to drag her by the arm, but wasn't strong enough.

"I can take her," a male voice spoke up. Mackenzie turned to see it was Marcus, who looked at the girl on the floor in amusement.

"Oh, my love!" Alice shouted and raised her hands up. "Off to carry me to bed?"

Mackenzie facepalmed and shook her head.

"You have fun, I'll keep watch until you're in her rooms."

Marcus sent her a thankful smile before picking up Alice, carrying her bridal style down the hallway. Once again, she continued her drunken rambles.

"I have many words to say to you, Marcus."

"Oh yeah?" He raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Like what?"

"I loooooove you," she giggled, drawing out the 'o' longer than necessary. Marcus just blushed and continued walking.

"I love you too, Princess," he said back, knowing she more than likely wont remember a single thing in the morning. He made it to her rooms and made it inside, gently setting her down on the bed. He went back over to the door and put the bar down, ensuring no one would enter.
