Damage

Keon coming to my rescue that night had me looking at him in a different light. He was fine as hell and had money but he was also married. Dre and I have been on the outs since then. We tried hard not to let Cynsere see us arguing but I couldn't keep pretending. Sky is starting to walk and reminds me so much of Kaleef. If i could turn back i would've told Kaleef to go a different route that day of the accident. I lost my first true love. After what we've been through Kaleef loved me still and forgave me. Sky was my child that was made in love. Although I loved Cynsere, I hated his father and it angered me that I even chose to go back with him. I fixed the kids' dinner and we sat down and watched a movie. Dre walked in the front door and headed up the stairs to our room. I didn't even get up. I continued watching the movie with my babies. A few minutes later he came back down the steps and straight out the door.

"Is everything okay with you and dad?"Cynsere asked me.

"Why are you asking that Papi?"I asked him.

"You and dad have been arguing. I can hear y'all at night."

"Son, let me talk to you for a second."I said, picking him up and sitting him next to me.

"Yes mama."He said.

"Sometimes two people love one another but can't be together..I have love for your daddy but mommy doesn't want to be with him anymore."I said.

"Will he still come see me ?"

"Yes baby he will...he will...he loves you.."I said, kissing him on the forehead.

"I want you to be a happy mom."Cynsere said, hugging me.

"I will be a baby , you don't worry about that, okay?"I said

"Okay."Cynsere said, going back to his toys. Sky looked up at me with her bright hazel eyes and smiled. She was cute and a good baby. My kids definitely are the light of my life and I love them so much.

A couple hours later Keon called my phone.

"Can you come to my office? I wanna talk to you for a little."Keon said.

"Yeah...whats going on?"

"Just come thru."Keon said, hanging up. I asked the nanny to watch after the kids and headed over to Keon's. When I walked in Shamira was on the couch sleep a wine bottle laid beside her. Jay escorted me to Keon's mancave. It was like something out of a movie. He had a living room set down there, a fridge, kitchen area, a large entertainment system, pull out bed and shower . It was something like a mini apartment.

Keon was sitting on the couch in a white tee and gray sweat pants watching a movie. Jay left the room and i sat down beside him. I was nervous because what did he wanna talk about?

"Wassup?"I asked him taking out a blunt and lighting it.

"You know Dre robbed me last night and i'm looking for him?"

"Are you serious?"i yelled.

"Calm down..yeah..so have you seen him cuz when i find him imma kill him."Keon said

Bad terms or not i wasn't about to tell him where my babyfather was at or if i saw him. Keon rubbed his chin and looked at me for a couple minutes.

"Okay. i'm mad as fuck Jania...i trusted this nigga."Keon said.

"I gotta get back to the kids. If you come across him just please don't hurt him."I said getting up and walking out. I got in the car and drove back to the house . A gray car was parked outside along with mine. I walked into my mansion and saw Flock and Dre standing in the foyer.

"Are you fucking crazy?! You know Keon called me over right?"i yelled slamming the door behind me and locking it.

"Hold on Flock."Dre said walking over to me.

"Why Dre?"i said.

"Just calm down Nani...chill. Come upstairs we gotta talk."Dre said.

I followed Dre up the steps and into our room . He closed the door and sat on the bed.

"What the fuck is going on Andre?"i asked him putting my hands on my hip.

"Everybody that was on the block back home is saying i killed that cop..I can't go back there and now the law pressin Flock for info."

"So what that mean? "

"Me and Flock going out Arizona for a little. His folks own a crib out there."

"Damn so you just gonna leave the kids?"

"We been on the outs anyway and you know that ..Anyia is with her mom and Nova is with my mom ...whenever I can imma send for Cynsere."He said. I paced around the bedroom shaking my head.

"You know Cynsere asked me if i was happy the other day."

"And? What did you tell him?"

"I told him the truth...Dre i don't wanna be with you anymore.. I just ask that you remain a father to Cynsere."I said

"Regardless of how you feel just kno i love you . That will never change."He said standing up.

"Love doesn't hurt...and thats all you've been doing is hurting me."I said with tears of frustration falling down my cheeks.

"I'll call for Cynsere when i get there."Dre said walking out the room.

Dre and i finally ended our relationship after 7 years and I am honestly glad it was over and done with. Summer break has arrived and i started taking Cynsere out to keep my mind off of things. Sky was officially walking and talking. We sat on the ebach making sand castles and having a goodtime.

"Mom.."Cynsere said

"Yes baby?"

"You know you're the best?"

"I ain't the best Cyn but i love you too."I smiled. Cynsere got up and walked his baby sister over to the water and let her play before coming back and sitting with her on a towel. After the beach we went to Mcdonalds and then home. Dre has been gone for three weeks now and i was nervous. Shamira invited me to her girls book club. I was hesitant but I finally decided to go. I left the kids with the Nanny then drove over to Shamira's house. We settled in the living room and she had purple lighting . Three other women sat in a circle and we talked about a book called a Hustlers Mistress. Shamira was cool and she reminded me of India Aire a little. Whenever she talked it was like angels were speaking through her. Keon was a lucky man and she was surely a lucky woman.

"I can't believe you joining them hoes."Keon laughed while i was in the kitchen putting my cup in the sink.

"Why you say that they seem cool?"

"I done fucked about two of them and Shamira still don't know."He laughed.

"So what does that say about you? And your braggin bout cheating on your wife."I scowled walking out of the room. I felt Keon pull me close . His heat on my body made my pussy jump with excitement.

"I want you."He whispered kissing on my neck then walking a way.
