Winter's P.O.V

"Don't forget to text me when you arrive there okay?" Karina reminds me. We're at the airport now and everyone insisted on seeing me and Chaeryeong off and we couldn't even say no.

"I will, boss." She slapped my arm playfully but I can see tears forming in her eyes.

It hurts me too, my love.

"Don't.. don't flirt okay?" I can hear the insecurities in her voice as she told me that.

"Don't flirt too, okay? I'll make Yeji take care of you." She suddenly became tense when I said that but I just shrugged it off.

"It's not like i'll be away for too long, love." I kissed her forehead, reassuring her about everything.

"I'll miss you, Jagi." Tears dropped from her eyes, she couldn't help herself. I hugged her so tight but enough for her to still breathe.

I hugged everyone else before Chaeryeong and I bid our goodbyes to them.

I took one last glance at them before I lost a sight of them. Tears began to fall from my eyes while we sat and wait for our departure.

Flashback

I only have 5 days left here in Korea before I go to America and work on our Project at the company.

I invited everyone for dinner. I finished everything without having proper meals and sleep again just to spend time with them for 5 days.

"I have an announcement to make but I'll announce it after dinner. For now, order whatever you like and it's on me." All of them cheered like they don't have any money to buy some. They're all rich asf too.

"You okay?" I can feel Karina squeezed my hand beside me. I just nodded and smiled at her to reassure her.

"So, I invited you all here to announce that... I'll be going to America for a few months or a year because of work." I told them that took a lot of courage for me to say. They all just looked at me, I can't even read their expressions that made me nervous a bit.

I looked at Karina who's just looking at me as I can see her sad eyes forming some tears slowly.

"You'll leave us?" Taeyeon unnie finally spoke.

"For a few months, yes. I'll be back, it's just for work unnie." I answered. I held Karina's hard to calm her down for a bit.

"When's your flight?" Yoona unnie asked.

"In 5 days. I finished my papers and everything I need to do so I could spend those days with you guys." I explained.

"Not being over-dramatic, but I feel sad to see you go even just for a few months." Everyone agreed with Giselle.

"Yeah, especially for Karina." Everyone turned their attention towards Karina who's sitting quietly beside me. She looks like she's still processing everything I said.

"What?" She finally snapped into her senses when she heard her name.

"You okay?" I asked her directly not caring if others are looking at us.

"No..." Her voice shakes when she spoke. She looks like she wants to say something but prevents herself because she doesn't want to burst out crying.

"Can you guys excuse us for a moment?" They nod before Karina and I go out to have some fresh air and talk about it.

"Tell me what you're thinking, love. It's okay to cry." As soon as I told her that, she hugged me and burst out crying.
