CHAPTER 5: SALUTATIONS!

??? 's POV:

I looked at my watch, 12:35 am, midnight.
My supplies were running low and there's still a week before they send out new supplies; a thing I learned here is that they have some.. Vent of some sorts that sends out laboratory items like test tubes and stuff, but most importantly, food, weapons, and medical supplies.

Some would say it's minor, but I'd say it's crucial. I was desperately in need of medical supplies.

I thought it'd be a good idea to look for other people here and steal their supplies, which is yes, a terrible thing to do, but it's pretty much kill or be killed here.

And just that, led me here. Behind a corner looking at a.. Girl? Boy..? Agh, person, leaning against the wall.

They seem to have a headache.. Ah. They have very clear eyebags.. Have they not slept..? (sonar in fact hasn't slept in like 2 days💀)

I.. Pitied them. Plus I don't see any supply stash anywhere.. They must be new here.

Ah.. I'm low on medical supplies though.. Ah, what to do what to do.. Think, think!

I gently smacked my head with my hand, making up my mind.

Sonar's POV

Is that guy really just gonna watch me..? This is kind of awkward.. Agh, I hate this...

I felt a sharp pain in my head, which really wasn't helping my current headache.

Also.. Am I.. Bleeding??

I liftedy left arm to examine it more, to realize I have a few cuts and bruises on them.

Huh.. How did I bruise and cut myself?! I mean, I did slam myself against the wall a few times.. But that doesn't explain how I cut myself?!! That dragon doesn't have sharp nails or anything?? It's slime!

I think the guy noticed, cause as soon as I looked back to where they were, they were suddenly right next to me.

AAH! HOW'D YOU GET THERE?!

???'s POV

Ah.. I think I must've scared them...

I mean, I did quietly go from behind the corner to RIGHT next to them, and plus they can't exactly trust me.. My face is being hid by my hoodie making it more suspicious too.

I lifted up the bandages, gesturing them to allow me to bandage it.

Sonar's POV

Are they.. Trying to bandage my arm..?

I hesitated for a moment. I mean, it could be a trap! And I've been tricked too many times today.

I gave in eventually. I lifted my arm and showed them it.

They gently begun bandaging my arm. I looked in awe as I admired their hands.. They have really nice hands. And I like the warm feeling when they touch my skin.. N-NOT IN THAT WAY!!! I'VE JUST BEEN FEELING TOUCH STARVED THESE FEW WEEKS OKAY??

I looked away flustered and red at my own thoughts, I'm pretty sure they didn't notice but if they did, I'd probably kms right now.

They had just finished bandaging my arm, I gently shoved it away from then, trying not to appear as rude as possible.

".. Thank you. " I muttered.

"... Jay." They responded.

"What?"

"My names Jay." They slightly lifted their hood up, revealing more to their face and.. Their eyes. They has beautiful blue eyes which were slightly dull. It looked as if it was the ocean.. Wait, what's going on with me?! Get yourself together sonar!!

I snapped myself out of my thoughts. "My names Sonar." I responded, looking away again.

It seems like I've just gained a teammate.
