CHAPTER 4 : NEWCOMERS

I returned to the safezone, my body was obviously rushing me after what had just happen earlier.

I set down the tray and sat on the cement floor, lifting up my hand to rest my head on it.

I've begun feeling light headed ever since that thing attacked me..

I leaned my head against the nearest wall, by God was I exhausted.

Mmmh.. Maybe I could just.. Rest for a little... Which was all I could mutter before I begun hearing footsteps. Could I honestly not catch a break here?

I was debating on whether to just ignore it or actually do something, but my curiosity got the better of me.

I opened my eyes and and lazily moved my head to the side, wow, speaking of which, I've never really looked into the caves since I got here.. How beautiful those crystals are... Wait, that's not important.

I squinted my eyes as the crystals glow was quite bright, revealing me to a sillhouete of a person for a quick second.

I pathetically attempted to lift myself up on the floor, failing miserably as I fell back against the wall holding my forehead with my arm.

God I feel like shit all over, holy fuck. I mean, I am having a horrible headache, near as horrible as that one time I ate like 6 spoons of raw sugar as a kid, tired as motherly fuck with my limbs about to give up on me any second, and my body suddenly heating up to the point I might faint?? At this point, just kill me..

I saw the guy quickly sneak his way near, hiding behind a wall, I acted like I didn't see him as I let out another groan in pain. Jesus Christ.

I'm an atheist.
