Talia's POV:

I just finish talking to Syri she said she was okay and was tired and let her know am fine as well and we hang up.

He came and sit beside me on the couch.

I shift over uncomfortably.

"B yuh nuh afi fraid ami am not fanna hurt you"

I turn and look at him with tears forming.

"I get that whatever this is basically just started and I don't expect you to trust me this quickly...."

"But am traumatize because I didn't expect you to be a gun man"

"It ain't even like that b" he sighs.

"So when yuh seh we from different worlds u mean because yah gun man and mi a dis calm girl..."

"Not really but yes basically..." he said looking straight at me.

"Mi nah guh deh yah and mek nothing happened to yuh b mi can promise yuh that"

"I- I can't trust you Luke, mi Deven know who yuh be because yuh have all these secrets".

"Yuh cah expect mi fi just tell yuh boh mi life Suh them things Deh come wid trust and me have trust issues cause people a pussyole".

"So yah seh mia pussyole that u couldn't atleast tell me seh u wid try fi let mi in.."

He was right tho people really are messed up.

The place grows silent for about 5 mins then he spoke.

Luke's Pov:

I told her about my father's death that lead to all of this.

Told her about the drugs. I be sure to leave out  some details for now.

Make sure to let her know my business are legit, they legal.

"Wow... I get where your coming from now"

"So have u ever killed somebody".

"Yes I have" I told her honestly.

"I only kill them if I have to."

"Weh yuh mean by that tho".

"Like the man who killed my father he started to target me as well so I had to kill him along with people who rape, molest children etc".

"If yuh wah call it Suh yea". I said and look over her her eyes on me.

I chuckled "nuh that u been a do b go ahead and ask weh yuh wah ask"
