Natsu's P.O.V.

Today is the day. I'm leaving to go to some random military camp. I don't want to, but they might hunt me down if I don't follow their orders. Why did they have to choose me? Couldn't they have chosen someone else?

Hold on a second. I know why they chose me! I'm the best there is. Why else would they choose someone that is awesome at everything?

I can't help it. My head is swimming with questions, and no one is here to answer them for me. This is getting me annoyed. Reading the letter didn't help that much. Thanks to that evil sheet of paper, my head hurts. It's not fun at all. Stupid letter. Stupid trees.

GRAY THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. I BLAME YOU.

Hold on. Smoke? Why do I smell smoke? Wait. Wasn't I cooking an omelette? SHIT. IT'S BURNING.

I quickly grabbed the pan and dropped it in the sink. I didn't even realize that I had burned my hand until I let go of the pan. Oh well. The heat never bothered me anyway.

As I cleaned up the burnt egg and peppers I realized that I should just make myself a hot cup of coffee. At least my house won't burn down.

After pouring the already made coffee into a mug, I sat down at my round, oak table. Groaning in frustration, I ran a hand through my hair. I need an idea. Maybe Lisanna can help me with this.

Picking up my phone, I dialed Lisanna and waited for her to pick up. After about 2 rings, she answered the phone.

"Good morning, Natsu," Lisanna said cheerfully into the phone.

"Good morning to you too, Lisanna. I need an idea to get out of this army thing. Can you help me?" I asked urgently.

"Um, sure, I can try to help you."she responded reluctantly.

"I know! I can just get a red sharpie and color my arm red! I can say that I fell down a canyon!" I said, positive that it would work.

"Natsu, I don't think that your idea would work. It doesn't even make any sense."

"It does to me!"

"Well, to you it does at least. Natsu, just go okay? I don't want you to be in any trouble," Lisanna replied, her voice softening.

"But-. Ugh. Fine, I'll go."

"Good. I have to go now. Bye Natsu."

"See you later, Lisanna." I replied, as I ended the call.

Sighing in defeat, I went to go pack by things. As I trudged up the stairs, I find out that I really don't want to go. That shitty letter is ruining my life. Those bastards who sent the letter are going to pay when I find them.

Soon enough, I sat down and slammed my suitcase into the floor. I had just finished packing my belongings. Might as well start saying my goodbyes.

The first thing that I decided to say goodbye to was my refrigerator.

"Goodbye, refrigerator full of delicious food," I said as I hugged the side of the cold door. After 1 minute, I sighed and let go of it. I was about to walk to my bed to say goodbye, but the doorbell rang. That must be them. Who else would it be? Hold on. Maybe it's Lisanna!

I ran towards my front door, and opened it with a flash. When I saw that it wasn't Lisanna, my hopes crashed and burned.

"Oh, it's you ice shit. What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.

"Do you not know? I got drafted too. Now get on the bus before I drag you onto there." Gray said growling.

"Fine you bastard, but get a shirt. I don't like strippers on my lawn."

Before he could answer, I walked over to get my suitcase off the floor. Looks like I made a dent when I slammed it down. Picking the small, leather suitcase up, I walked through my door and trudged down the steps. I shoved my way past Gray and walked onto the bus.

Goodbye, Lisanna.
