Natsu's P.O.V.

After talking to Lucy, I had unpacked all of my belongings, and decided to take a nap. What harm would a nap do to me? I had thought that before the nap, but now, I regret even thinking about that.

Groaning in pain, I crawled out of my bed. I couldn't steady myself, so I fell to the floor with a loud thud. Where is Life Alert when you need it?

Damn it, Lucy. Why did you have to call Erza? Who cares if it's time to train. Erza didn't have to hit me on the head to wake me up. Anything but that! I could've woken up peacefully, and enjoyed my time laying in bed thinking about food.

Sighing, I helped myself onto my feet. "Damn you Erza," I muttered darkly. "I hope the strawberry cake runs out. Serves you right for what you did to me."

"What did you say, Natsu? Go ahead, repeat it again." A shiver ran down my spine, and I turned around only to be greeted by an enraged Erza. She cracked her knuckles and slowly walked towards me.

"Shit." I forgot that she was still here. I backed away slowly and turned around. Then I proceeded to sprint out of the cabin. "Don't hurt me! I'm too young to die!" I wailed in despair.

Turning several corners, I ran into a dead end. This is it. Goodbye, world. I closed my eyes in anticipation and waited to be beat to a pulp. After about a minute, I opened my eyes. Where is Erza? I would usually be dead by now.

Oh well, I will live to see another day. I peaked my head out from behind the wall and looked around. Alright, the coast is clear. I breathed a sigh of relief, and walked out of the alleyway.

I saw a enormous crowd of people heading towards an empty field, so I decided to follow them. Huh, training must be starting now. No wonder Erza didn't run after me.

The mob of people suddenly stopped and got into a line. I quickly mimicked their movements and went to the middle of the line.

A very tough looking man with dirty blond hair walked towards us, and gave us all a hard stare. "I am Sergeant Laxus, and today we will start training. I will break you all down and strip away all of your pride and dignity. Then, I will mold you all back up into elite soldiers. Do I make myself clear?" We all nodded in fear, too scared to deny a word that came from his mouth. "Now, to start off, do 100 push-ups. Go!"

I immediately dropped onto the ground and did push-ups. Everyone followed suit and did the same. As we all did the warmup, Laxus walked around and inspected us all.

"Get up! You all need to do that again. Be in sync with each other. Teamwork is a vital key in battle. Without it, we cannot get things done as swiftly and efficiently." Laxus pointed towards the ground and yelled "Begin!" once again.

We did push-ups for about 3 hours until we couldn't even bend down. The sun had started to set, and my shirt was drenched in sweat. Finally, Laxus clapped his hands and motioned for everyone to stand up.

"That was pathetic. Be here tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock sharp. Do not be late, or you will be thrown out by me. Good night." With that, Laxus turned around and walked away, leaving us all to drown in exhaustion.
