Natsu's P.O.V.

Someone..help..me..Why..do I...have...to...go...on...a...bus...

Can't anyone see that I'm dying here? I hate having motion sickness. I feel horrible. Just kill me now...

"Oi. Bastard, get up. We're here, and we have to get off the bus now," Gray said as he shoved me off my seat.

"Shut up, Stripper," I growled in response while scowling at him.

As I realized that we weren't moving anymore, I shot up from my seat and grabbed my suitcase. I sprinted out of the vehicle, only to be greeted by a blinding light. As my eyes adjusted to the sunlight, I dropped my suitcase onto the ground. I started to scan my surroundings, and saw that the army base looked like a camp site.

There were a bunch of small, wooden cabins that had paint peeling off the walls. A large building made of steel stood the middle of all the cabins. A large sign to my right stated that it was the cafeteria. The ground was just a mixture of dirt and sand. There was no vegetation as far as the eye could see.

"This place looks like shit," I stated blunty. How else could I describe this place?

"That's not a nice thing to say, Natsu," a female voice said firmly.

That voice sounds familiar. Is it who I think it is? I hope not. Gulping in fear, I turned around slowly. I saw a scarlet haired woman in front of me and I froze in pure terror. Shit. I considered running, but the demon would probably hunt me down and burn me in hell.

"Um, Erza. what are you doing here?" I asked. I chuckled nervously and tried to figure out how to escape.

"I was drafted last month. I've been here since then," she replied. Erza spread her arms out and reached out to pull me into a hug. I tried to run. I swear I did, but she roughly yanked on the collar of my red t-shirt, and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. As my life flashed before my eyes, I struggled to catch my breath. When she finally let me go, I took in deep breaths of air.

I finally caught my breath and stood up straight. I looked back at Erza and saw her eating a slice of strawberry cake. Her eyes were shining as bright as stars, and she was mumbling something about how perfect the frosting was. I took this as my chance to make my escape, and that's exactly what I did. I turned around and ran for my life.

I wandered around for about half an hour until I found a piece of paper hanging on a wooden wall. Full of curiousity, I walked over to it and looked at the small, fancy print. I found out that the list was for a cabin. I trailed my index finger down the sheet of paper until I found my name. Aha! Nastu Dragneel, Cabin E23. Luckily, I got a cabin to myself, so I didn't have to share with a random stranger.

Before I went to find my cabin, I decided to go to the cafeteria. I burst through the doors and sprinted toward the line. Shoving people out of the way, I grabbed everything that I saw. What? That's normal, there's nothing wrong with eating.

I hurried towards a table and started shoving as much food as I possibly could down my throat. The bus drained the energy out of me, and I have to fill it back up. When I looked up, I saw a whole bunch of people looking at me weirdly. Oh well, I don't care about what they think. Just as long as they don't steal my food. Then I would care.

When I finished eating, I walked to the Cabin E area. I saw cabin 23 right away, and slowly walked towards it. Suprisingly, my door was open. I cautiously tiptoed inside and set my suitcase down.

A person was standing in the middle of the room. Before I could react the stranger turned around to look at me.

"You're Natsu Dragneel, right?" they asked.

I nodded slowly in response. How did this stranger know my name? I couldn't trust them yet.

Smiling brightly, the person reached out their hand. "Hi, I'm Lucy Heartfilia, your personal nurse."
