The feeling of the rumbling ground, and the sound of bitter silence. The inky mass over Azulin halted, the subtle chortle that it was emitting also seemed to rest at a halt. A snarl escaped from the creature, hissing soon heard in suit. The sound the creature made was something guttural and evil. Consuming and controlling.

Just as it made a move forward to finish off the blue and pink bears bodies that lie on the ground below, the creature's chest area lit up- glowing a subtle yellow hue. The glow was small at first, almost like a flashlight under someone's hand, or blanket. Then, with a burst of energy, it shredded away the monsters form. The monster hissed as it's body dissipated- melting into the blood soaked ground.

The rain continued to pour from above- falling upon the corpses of enemies, friends and family.

Eventually, the subtle glow turned into a brilliant glimmer. For just the smallest moment, no one witnessed it- but the world was truly beautiful. Being rained on by glorious light and glimmering golden hues.

Just maybe, perhaps- that is what being eternal would have felt like.

The world was swallowed in this beautiful, ever-consuming light though. Everything vanished behind a curtain of raining sunshine and blinding rays. If one had felt it, they would likely have described it as a feeling of being erased- no matter how transfixed or alternatively frightened they might have been.

The somber world was eaten by this consuming force... and for some unknown amount of time... there truly was nothing.

It truly was the end... this universe had been eaten alive by it's own greed. This greed consumed the world and everything in it. Caving in on itself in it's yearning for more and more- until there was nothing more to provide. Like a parasite, it overwhelmed the host- perishing with the host when there was no more to feed on.

This, though, is where there was a splinter.

A little fragment of generosity. Granted from whatever higher source there may have been- the broken pieces of the shattered world were being repaired. Atom by atom, bit by bit.

The being was unknown. Unseen, and unheard, and unspoken.

However, the pitiful plea touched it's heart and with what strings of magic grace this thing did indeed have- it spun that little thread of a wish into it's very own creation. A creation of which it took it's own liberties, only with subtle greed. To bend the past of a world would be difficult- but such pity this unknown being did feel for the permanently scarred blue bear it would make the first few steps go in the right direction.

With the grant of a kiss- maybe from an angel or demon, or some other estranged figure of ethereal descent- the world sparked back to life. Color flourishing as a frozen scene started to tick to a move again. Grays and darkened tones of past memory becoming vibrant, and beautiful again. Becoming whole.

Yet, there was only so much this figure would be able to do to start the little wish-maker on his path to carve anew.

Floating down to the frozen scene of the blue bear amidst bullying his pink brother- the figure kissed two of it's own fingers, before tapping the frozen bear on the head and disappearing from where it had come from.

It's work there, for now... was done.

Color flooded back into the world in spinning hues. Azulin was pointing at his brother, a sort of sour, amused look on his face, before lurching forward with some sort of unknown shock.

It was almost as if he had been elbowed in the gut. It was so damned hard to breathe, and his eyes started to well up with tears from the sudden force. It made him almost choke, if he hadn't of stopped himself sooner. The feeling of strangeness was accompanied by the sudden cacophony of twisting, unpleasant memories invading this new existence of his.

He fell to his knees, looking down as he tried to process having hands... and limbs and seeing out of both eyes again. His breaths became deep and ragged- almost like some sort of strange panic attack. Only.. it was different?

He had no ways of telling.

Without a second though, the brother he was just in the middle of bullying rushed over to him- making plenty of noise as he ran across the floor.

Azulin noticed the sheets the brother was holding being dropped on the ground far before he noticed his brother's worried expression. The nervous pink bear was on the verge of tears from the personal attack he had been endearing not even a minute ago- and it was all replaced with the concerned eyes and genuine concern that he would always show.

"Gordi...." Azulin looked up to his sibling. Almost unable to even muster up the courage or willingness to lock eyes with him. As soon as he did- he first saw the dead, dark abyss that he stared into, before... he ...

That's right... he died.

If that was the case... how... how was...

Everything only got more and more confusing. Though, Azulin felt his guilt overtake any confusion he had once more. His brother looked fine now. His bright, Vibrant pink eyes were as alive as they had always been... before Azulin had cruelly taken it away with the firm swing of a sharp boulder.

Azulin clenched his fists, and pulled his arms together as he started to tear up more. The fresh, warm droplets flowing down his cheeks and landing on the floor below. He didn't care about his pride. About whatever he was doing before. He had already forgotten that.

However, the other bears in the same room all seemed to grow more on edge. They knew what Azulin was like. Azulin stood up suddenly, and pulled his bigger brother into a firm hug as he started to silently ball his eyes out into his siblings shoulder.

Almost everyone was half-way to grabbing Azulin, though- damn near convinced that the usually vindictive and angry bear was about to beat the shit out of the pink sibling.

All everyone could do was watch in awe- taking in the shocking sight before themselves.
