You and I (last chapter, YO!)

(Third person, about 3 months later) "You better not hurt him," Peach said as she straightened Bowser's tie.

"I won't!" He said, chuckling at the princess he once thought he would be the one having this party for.

"Bowser, I am the most serious I have ever been. If you hurt him, I will murder you," she said, giving a slightly harder than playful punch.

"I know! I know." He chuckled in spite of himself. "He's my darling husband, I would never hurt him!"

Meanwhile, on the other side of the castle, a worried brother was crying his eyes out while the younger one conforted him.

"What if he hurts you?" Mario sobbed.

"We have been together for 4 months, and married for all of them! He wouldn't dream of it!" Luigi said, holding his sobbing brother close. He couldn't help but laugh.

"This is-a no laughing matter! He's a literal monster!"

"Oh Mario, you trust me right?"

"Of course!"

"Then trust me on this."

About 15 minutes later, the two groups met in the thrown room. On one side stood Peach and Bowser, the other stood Mario and Luigi. Of course, there were others there, but they're not important. This was a major event, after all. It's not every day that a kingdom gets a new king consort.

Why this ceremony was being preformed 4 months after the wedding? Well, if Luigi (dressed as the princess) had stayed for more than two seconds after the wedding, it would have already happened. But after his true identity was revealed and then the king got arrested, it just kept getting pushed back.

As reporters would soon state, it was a beautiful ceremony. Luigi knelt down in front of the king, who then stated the following: "Luigi, I have loved you for a while now. I feel confident that you will help me protect the Koopa Kingdom from all harm, and will help for the betterment of our society. Do you accept this duty with all it entails?"

"I do," Luigi replied. With that, Bowser did the thing you do when you're knighting someone, and Luigi stood next to his husband. They shared a kiss as the crowd cheered.

It was a bit like those old stories we're told as children. How a monster could learn to love a man. But in some ways it is very different. They were very gay, which comes as no shock to anyone. It was a weird love story to say the least. Maybe not the most healthy, but a love story nonetheless. And I hoped you enjoyed it.
