I was just trying to get to class, but after lunch, students seemed to have so much energy. Everywhere you looked, there was a group of friends being loud and taken up so much space in the hallway. I wasn't an exception, of course, but, at the moment, Ao'nung and me had parted ways from our friends to get to class.
In the bustling hallways, where teenage chatter and laughter filled the air, I caught a glimpse of you. It was as if the world slowed down for a fleeting moment, and everything else faded into insignificance. We locked eyes and I couldn't look away from your mesmerising gaze. You had an aura that drew me in, an undeniable magnetism that captured my attention. You sent a smile my way – such a radiant smile that could illuminate the room. In that very instant, my heart skipped a beat, and I knew deep within my soul that I had witnessed something extraordinary.
Ao'nung lightly punched my shoulder bringing me back to reality. "Come on, Rotxo. Why are you standing there?" He asked making me realised I was standing still in the middle of the busy hallway. I quickly nodded my head and followed him, looking back to where you had previously stood.
It was the first time I saw you. I was hoping it wouldn't be the last.

I would describe myself as an ordinary teenage boy simply navigating the treacherous waters of high school. I was not the popular type like Ao'nung even if I hung with him. I would play sport every once in a while, but never enough to be classified as a jock and my grades were good, but not 'nerd' good. I was average in every subject, but I didn't mind. I didn't think standing out was really for me.
The sad thing about this though was that I didn't think people noticed me, or care enough to notice me. You probably didn't know who I was. I wish you did. There was just something amazing about you, something that made my heart skip a beat every time you walked into the room. Everything about you was extraordinary, even your name sounded like a melody.
You were the kind of person who effortlessly turned heads with their infectious smile and sparkling eyes. It didn't take long for me to find myself taking paths to pass by your locker. I was hypnotised. You just were so nice to look at, I couldn't help myself. I wanted to be more than just another face in the crowd to you. I wanted to be the person to make you smile, the one to make your heart race.
One day after school, I saw you waiting outside, sitting under a tree. It was a beautiful day; the sun was hitting your face perfectly. You were glowing. With nervous anticipation coursing through my veins, I mustered the courage to approach you, my heart pounding like a runaway drumbeat. Every step felt like an eternity as I closed the distance between us, butterflies swirling in my stomach. As I finally stood before you, creating a shadow over you. You looked up, your eyes meeting mine, and again, time stood still.
"Hi." My voice trembled slightly as I greeted you with hesitation. I saw a flicker of curiosity in your gaze, a hint of recognition. Encouraged by your warm smile, I mustered all the confidence I could find and engaged you in a conversation. You offered a seat beside you, and I gladly took it, my heart going crazy. With each word exchanged, a connection began to form, as if the universe itself conspired to bring us together.
I was able to make you smile, even laugh at times. You had a nice laugh. From that day forward, I knew I was utterly and completely head over heels for you, unable to resist the gravitational pull of your presence.

In school, you had started to notice me. You would send smiles my way when, unfortunately for me, you would catch me staring at you. I couldn't help myself.
