Episode 8 - Taking the gem back.

As the 3 of them walked into the dense forest, many things and discoveries, Interesting things....could be seen.

Such as unknown species of fruit and plants, and different types of insects which Y/N wasn't a really big fan off. Still, this amazes Y/N since these things are new to him even after a months of stay in this world.

And the items here are not quite obtainable normally since this part of the forest is not really accesible to him and this special quest is the only key to that.

Y/N inspected and collect some of it to improve his foraging skills while walking, which really worked, and earned him some level and points.

And as for shadow, his quiet as ever, taking glances at the back to make sure Y/N-or-Master wouldn't get lost, as they followed the white wolf wherever he takes them. Still feeing uneasy on the other wolf.

Y/N tried to inspect Kuro's status.

It was still all sketchy to Y/N why would a 'guardian of nature' would even need their help?

Y/N was in thoughts was still a mess, but decided to leave it and just focus on this to end it.

Soon after a while of walking they finally stop and hid behind a tree.

Kuro made a hand sign that says 'shhhh....' which the two followed.

Slowly Y/N took a small peek behind the tree and he soon saw a pack of bandits. these bandits looks like your average RPG bandit which Y/N remembered playing on he's computer.

There's a human and beastmen at the group.

And one of the bandits that looks outstanding at the group was a big looking man that holds a green looking.....gem??? Wait...

Y/N:"Is that...."

Before he could continue, a laugh was heard at the bandits which came from the guy who's holding the gem.

???:"That was too easy to take hahaha! I wonder how much you would sell?~"

The one that hold the gem quickly spoke which Y/N assumed is their boss. Well.... judging from the way they looked....

It was quickly followed by some.
????:"This is an easy jackpot for us!"

??:"We're gonna earn a lot on this!"

Kuro let out a low annoyed sigh, clearly annoyed and angry at this people.

The so-called boss was inspecting the bright green gem.
Suddenly, a low growl was rumbling at Kuro chest. he's really pissed of right now and would literally lunge at the bandits, but restrained himself.

'We have to make a plan.'

Y/N thought, when suddenly an random small animal creature saw us.

Y/N, Shadow, Kuro:"......"

It panicked which causes it to run and screech which attracted the attentions of the bandits.

The bandits focus now locked on their hiding spot, clearly waiting for something...When one of the bandits, a wolf beastman sniffs the air and alarmed the others.

Y/N: 'crap...'

Y/N looked at the two wolfs asking what to do but only receive nothing.

He sighed as he speak in a low voice.
