Episode 9:Sewer

While walking Y/N and Shadow accidently bumps into a person
Making the other party fall into the ground.

"???"

This person is.....the "author"!
The person known author stands up and dust his clothing.
"Sorry..." Y/N apologize to the person and with a quick nod Y/N sigh in relief inside him..
"so uhh-author...when are you planning to update your books?.."

"What?...no greeting or something?..." I'm disappointed.
Shadow then cut off the emtiness in the atmosphere with "Hello"
"...." The three people were filled with silence.

Author has nothing to think of but just sighs "well fist off i'll introduce myself, as you may know i'm "XDrakFuryX"

Oooooooohhh.....
Y/N:"ohh so you created us?? Can you tell us what will happen in the future????"

Shadow:"...."

XDrakFuryX was surprised and speechless by the sudden burst of question. "Yes, everything, and i can't tell the future, back to your question." Y/N suddenly lost his hopes by the huge boulder that is dropped on him and listens to the person.

"The basic answer is unknown. And with the work is giving us right now is not helping either. And all of it are mostly research, research and research..and i'm trying to avoid any problems like plagiarism in my research so i'll have to butcher out every source of information and make my own one. And they are doing this since our test is almost coming. But if i'll estimate the update with my schedule....i'll say a month or so."

"Ehhhhhh??? that's too long.."
The hint of dissapointment is visible into Y/N while shadow is always quiet and being himself.
And the author continued to his talking.

"I know, But if i could finish this stack of research and if i will have a free time at myself i might..no i'll update my books and focus on creating  mapping and reworking my story."

Y/N:"but is there any kind of new things??...like anything?

Author:"yes, there is, i will try a different style of writing that consumes less space but this style is not really fitting at this kind of warning or update from me......it's cringe.....but also i'm planning-

(not yet sure if i'll do it or finish the first parts which is ti'll episode 12 of this book then the others....)

-soon releasing a fully completed short (very) story (maybe i'll do 2-3 of them???)
to quench my account here. That's all"

Y/N:"but-"

Author:"no more buts let the readers enjoy the story."

Y/N and shadow was peacefully walking at the lively village with many peoples chatter, Shadow's ear twitching sharply at the mixed sounds. when a notification suddenly appeared on Y/N almost giving him a jumpscare but managed to held back "(rank level-up)" Y/N saw this and smiled in his heart, this means he might be able to unlock something but to no avail, there's nothing special happening or showing at the system so he tried to keep his spirits up.. "master you seem really happy today." The pure joy at Y/N's face was just hardly to not notice so he faced Shadow and slightly blushed at his embarrassment. "Oh! It's nothing, i just remembered something" Y/N uses an poor excuse hoping that it would work "hmm....ok" Shadow only set of his question aside, seeing his master happy could also fill him up.

While walking suddenly Y/N heard a gossiping from a group of people. The noise as if very close to him but if noticed his far to overhear the conversation and very unsual, so he casually walked near the group and inspect a fruit from near the stalls to reduce his suspicion.
"I'll have 5 barbeque please!"
Y/N ordered 5 of these well seasoned barbeque since Shadow is a big eater and they haven't have breakfast. Y/N could use this opportunity to hear the conversation but the sound did not change at all. "The water lately has been undrinkable." The other girl said "Yes, i think almost all of the town are affected by this." Followed by another girl "they said there might be a problem in the sewage, but that doesn't seem enough to affect our whole city sinces the sewage will go and be cleansed by the lake."
It is indeed this lake is known as the Cleansing lake, since it would purify any harmful effects on the water by an unknown thing, but why is it suddenly not working??

While awaiting for the conversation to die down a promt notification from system appeared infront of Y/N,

"Quest Unlocked: Sewage problem, lake problem"
Info:an unknown reason caused the water at the village to be undrinkable by an unknown thing or being, head one of the sewer and inspect an unknown event.

With a short brief information
Y/N closed the notification in his mind, Finally something is happening! Y/N was finally able to unlock another quest from the system since last months ago.

Y/N took their barbeque and paid for them, the fresh fragrance and aroma from it is truly gonna make ones stomach growl.
Without wasting any more time Y/N handed the 4 barbeque at Shadow and keep one for himself
"Is this....all for me..?" Shadow asked with slightly tinge of hesitation. "Yup, remember we haven't breakfast yet, so there you go!" Y/N lighly smiled in his eyes at Shadow, "Don't worry about me, i'm a small eater so enjoy yourself." Shadow was very hesitant but choose to thank him, "Thankyou so much master.." a rare happiness swelled inside of him, he looks at his master that is eating the barbeque and look at one of his own, his stomach couldn't take any longer as it protest and growled, without wasting any much further he chomped down in one of the barbeque's and was delighted It's delicious!

And with that they soon will encounter the challenges and unknown that they will face at the sewer.

Sorry if this episode is rushed...but i'll try my best to still update my books for all of you.
With the short time i have if i let this pass i might move this next update for next week so i take the chance to give my wattpad a time and to update.
