•°Corinne's POV°•

I was sitting next to Bev, on the stairs, by her apartment. She looked totally out of it, she still hasn't said a word, telling me why she called me over in such a hurry, the only thing I got was that she'll tell me when the rest gets here, so I left it.

The bickering of the boys could clearly be heard as they got closer, Beverly run down the stairs, dragging me with her, we got to the others just as they came to a stop infront of us.

"You made it. I... I need to show you something." Bev says rubbing her legs nervously. "What is it?" Stanley asks, staring at the two of us in question. "More than we saw at the quarry?" Richie questions pushing up his glasses.

"Shut up! Just shut up, Richie." Eddie snaps at his friend irritated. "My dad will kill me if he finds out I had boys in the apartment." Bev nervously says, I knew she was telling the truth, her dad was against her even hanging out with boys or even get close to them, he wasn't even glad that she hang out with me.

"Then we'll leave a lookout. Richie s-s-stay here." Bill says, but to me it sounded like an order, more than anything else. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! What if her dad comes back?" Richie asks as the rest of us made our way up the stairs. "Do what you always do. Start talking." Stanley told Richie, Beverley leaded us into her apartment, towards the hallway that leads to her bathroom.

"In there." Beverly mutters, pointing to the closed bathroom door.

"What is it?" Stanley whispers.

"You'll see." Bev says.

The darkness of the apartment wasn't helping either, grabbing onto Ben's shirt tightly, afraid I might get grabbed and killed.

"Are you taking us to your bathroom? I just want you to know 89% of the worst accidents in homes, are caused in bathrooms, and I mean, that's where all the bacteria and fungi are and it's not really a sanitary place." Eddie rambles on, a nervous habit he has.

Bill pushed open the door, making Eddie want to throw up. "I knew it." Beverly's bathroom was covered in red, which could only be blood, how was this even possible.

"You see it?" My friend asks.

"Yes."

"What... What happened in here?" Stanley asks. "My dad couldn't see it, I thought I might be crazy." Bev explains as we all stared at the thick liquid all over the bathroom. "Well, Bev if your crazy it means all of us are crazy." I state, still trying to process what I'm actually seeing.

"We c-c-can't leave it like this." Bill says taking a step into the bathroom, we all pitch in to help clean, Bev asked me to clean the mirror, because she knew I won't be able to leave any marks on it, because it would drive me crazy.

I saw Ben staring at me as I was wiping the blood of the the mirror. I could only smile and continue cleaning the mirror. At a later stage, he was cleaning the floor by my feet, I couldn't stop the giggle escaping my lips.

Looking down at him, he looked up at me giving me a smile.

With everyone's help, the bathroom got cleaned in no time. I called Ben out in the hallway seeing Bill kept on staring at Beverly, it gave me the opportunity to ask Ben what I want to ask, and to leave Bill and Beverly alone to talk.

"So, I loved the poem you left in my bag." I tried saying as casualty as I could. Ben's cheeks turned bright red, a shy smile on his face.

"Okay, look I'm gonna be as straight forward as I possibly can with you right now." I say nervously, looking everywhere but him, Ben gave me a curious look.

"I swear I couldn't possibly like you more than I do right now, and yet in my heart I know I will tomorrow. So, Ben Hanscom, will you be my boyfriend?" I asks, staring into those beautiful brown eyes of his, his eyes grew wide, as he stared back into mine.

"Yes." Ben says, pulling me into an unexpected hug, I returned his hug, placing a kiss on his cheek, poor boy was completely red in the face.

I picked up the last of trash bags taking it out of the apartment.
