CHAPTER ONE Dreams?

Years later

Jayson's pov

Breathing heavily, I leaped over a huge log, stumbling in the process sending a loud echo all around me which sent birds flying out of the many trees around me, but that didn't stop me.

I didn't know where the heck I was or why I was running.

I was losing my breath slowly.

Where the hell I'm I?

All I know is that I've been running after some group of men chasing a lady who was running for her dear life.

We've been running for hours deep into a forest, just when we got deeper, she spread out her... wings?

Am I seeing clearly?

She was about taking off when an arrow was shot towards her.

As fast as I could, I made a quick fire ball and shot right at it burning it in the process.

But that moment was short lived when another went flying at her which sent her tumbling down a slightly slanty hill causing little damage to her.

Soon, I was right next to her.

"How" you ask? Well, I'm still trying to find out myself... I'll let you know when I do.

Warily, she stood up looking like she was about giving up but something stopped her.

A baby.

She had a fridging baby all along?!

There was a baby in between her arms. She gave a wary smile resuming her journey.

She finally stopped at a river and knelt next to it before removing her veil off the baby's face. He gave her a cheesy smile before giggling.

"You have to come back this people needs you they won't survive without you" she said to me, her blue eyes filled with plead.

"Who?" I questioned.

Finally someone can see me. Took you long enough.

"It doesn't matter, you have to get up, they're coming." I said protectively.

I could hear their voices and foot steps getting closer.

"Hurry"

"My time has come, but you still have a long one ahead of you" she said getting up before caressing my cheek with her thumb and slowly, I leaned into her touch without even realizing it.

Narrowing my eyes at her I stepped back and said "what in the world are you saying?"

"You'll understand sooner rather than later, but you have to save this people, this world, you are their only hope"

"What world are you talking about...? You know what? I don't care, we have to go now" I demanded.

"I can't, but I'm sure our path will cross someday. But you have to focus on the journey ahead for your sake and mine"

I looked at her confused to the bones.

"You may not understand now, but you will."

"But..."

"Listen very carefully," she said using a strict motherly tune. "You will meet a woman a today, her name is Sabrina... listen to her" she said firmly before cupping my cheek with her hand "my sweet boy, Lucas, I love you so much but you have to awake"
