Jayson's pov

I laid on my bed taking in all what had happened within the span of just few hours!

Firstly, there was the weird dream I had, then the girl I saved and as if things couldn't get any worst, I met a witch! An actual real life witch!

Anyways...

I rolled on my bed resting on my side as I remembered what she said.

"Then you'll have to accept the consequences"

"What kind of consequences?" I gulped.

"You ready or no?" She asked carelessly.

I lifted up my shirt and noticed my 'injury' was nearly healed. The last thing I want is adding more pressure on it.

I let my shirt roll back down before inhaling "I'm ready" I breathed out.

"Good, now sit" she said pointing at the floor.

"What?"

"Do you really want me to repeat myself?" She raised an eye brow.

"No ma'am" I said before sitting on the ground without a second thought.

She also sat down then started drawing some freaky dickies on the sand which I'm assuming are spells.

I've seen my mom doing this sometime ago, but it's a different shape. I'm guessing it's because It's a different spell.

Mom always like learning more about supernaturals, even though she's a human, she's more open minded than those poor excuse of humanity.

"Can't we do it... I don't know, somewhere not in the middle of a fridging market?"

"Don't worry, no one can see us" she said focusing on what she was doing.

And to my surprise, she's right, people literally passed us without a second glance.

"Stretch out your hand" she instructed.

"W...what?" I asked rhetorically.

'She said stretch out your hand idiot'

'Yeah, I heard her the first time stupid'

She scowled at me making me snap out of my unnecessary argument. "Right, sorry" I mumbled before stretching out my hand letting my Palm face the ground.

She mumbled some nonsense that I assumed was some incantations hovering her hand over mine.

"No matter what happens try to stay calm" she warned before holding my hand.

Soon, she placed two fingers of her free hand on my forehead before pushing it harshly, and I was entangled with darkness and silence for some seconds.

"He...hello?" I asked looking around me, I was alone in the dark... in my fridging mind.

'Great! Just great! Just what I need.' I thought sarcastically.

"Help" a voice called out. "Help!"

There was flashes of screams and pain and... suffering. It's so sad and cold.

I held my head tightly trying to stop the pounding sensation. The more flashes came the more the pain increased.

Soon, there was blood everywhere and fire, what made my heart drop was the pleading cries of people begging for their lives but was shown no mercy.
