Asanyeo looked wearily at the man was walking in front of her, making sure to keep her distance and keep an eye out on possible escape routes. She was unsure of his intent, and knew that caution was her best bet.

It was a weird situation. Asanyeo was well aware that the body she was inhabiting was precious for PK, had witnessed his anger first hand, and she knew that even though he was weaker than Oh Gong and Ma Wang, he was still a force to be reckoned with, vicious when his loved ones were under threat.

But his behaviour was confusing her. The reason why he gave her the energy marble was unclear, but at least it had returned some of her strength back to her. Without it, she wasn't sure that she would have followed the pig, but it gave her the security of being able to hold him off long enough to escape if he suddenly turned violent.

"Here, let's sit," PK said, sitting down on a concrete block near an abandoned park, full of weeds and away from curious eyes.

Asanyeo looked around the area hesitant, but she went to sit on an adjacent block, making sure to keep some distance.

"What do you want, pig?" Asaneyo asked, making sure to put a sneer in her voice. Anger wasn't always productive, but it an emotion she dealt better with than the empty stare of his.

"Was this what you wanted to achieve?" PK asked after a few moments of silence, not answering her question, "a dark dragon to destroy happiness?"

Asanyeo's head shot up while she glared at him, the point still sore. Yes, she knew she seemed like the bad guy to these people, but she truly hadn't meant to cause harm. All she wanted was finally meet the love of her life and show the world the happiness of the golden dragon.

"I didn't really count on this, no," she forced out instead, knowing that explanations would just go over his head.

"You risked a lot of lives on this," PK said, his voice mild, but she could see him studying her, and Asanyeo knew he was fishing for something.

"Yeah, well, I generally place myself on the first spot," Asanyeo answered, gesturing to the shelter they had just exited, "I don't mind killing, if it means that I can live,"

"You need to kill a lot of people to get a semblance of life," PK said, knowing how zombies worked, "do you actually still enjoy living? Each day you decay a little more, the stench of a dead body following you, the way you need to kill to survive a little longer until there is no humanity left in you anymore. Until you are just mindlessly devouring the lives of those around you in a desire to want what they have,"

Silence followed his statement, Asanyeo trying to hide her emotions behind an indifferent mask. It was true that this existence was cursed at best.

Even now, barely a day after Samjang had passed away, she could feel herself slip, each day a little more, and it would be only a matter of time before her wits left her and her body would go on a killing spree, wanting to keep on functioning a little longer.

She kept herself sitting upright and proud a little longer, before she slumped down with a defeated sigh, too tired to keep up the pretence.

"There is no pleasure in living like this," she admitted, and it almost hurt her to say it out loud, "but I can't let myself die either, this body, the desire to life..."

"Is she still there?" PK asks suddenly, interrupting her. Asanyeo freezes and stares at PK who looks at her as if he tries to read her soul. She knew that this part was coming, and how much of a hard ass she was trying to pretend to be, the affection he had for the girl moved her. She almost hated herself to destroy the little hope he still had.
