Seon Mi looked at Oh Gong, his breathing heavy and small drops of sweat on his forehead and she felt her worry increase with each time the darkness on the wound pulses, or with each gasp Oh Gong made.
Bu Ja came into the room every ten minutes, and each time a little bit more hope disappeared from her face when she saw the condition he was in. Seon Mi feared for both their lives, and she could feel tears wanting to make their way, but she could break down crying now.
She needed to be strong. She was the spirit now, and she needed to protect and take care of Oh Gong.
A knock sounded on the door, and she startled, wiping a stray tear away that had managed to make it's way out.
"Yes?" she answered, but the door was already opening and Ma Wang and Bo Ri came into the room.
"Ma Wang told me what happened," the spirit said, approaching the bed, and immediately examining the wound.
"Can you help him?" Seon Mi asked, sitting up a little, and making Oh Gong moan at the loss of her warmth next to him, but he didn't really wake up.
"Yes, I think so," Bo Ri said, taking a small white orb of light out of his pocket. It was contained in a small see through box, and when he opened it, he poured it over the wound.
It soon devoured the darkness, making Oh Gong gasp and wake up, a small scream coming from his mouth while the light delved deeper in the wound. Seon Mi took his hand, and stroked his head in comfort.
"Please be strong my love," she said, and Oh Gong bit back the next scream, looking into her eyes, and trying to not squeeze her hand too hard.
The light soon decimated the darkness, leaving Oh Gong sweaty and gasping at the feeling.
"What the fuck did you do?" Oh Gong said, turning around and glaring at Bo Ri.
"You were having the essence of the dark dragon in you. Evil deeds can only be defeated by good deeds. I collected a good deed," Bo Ri said, showing the empty container.
"Your good deed hurt," Oh Gong accused, but he was in fact feeling better.
"Yeah, well, at least we found out what can kill those dark dragon essences in time to safe you," Bo Ri said.
"How come he didn't become like PK?" Ma Wang interrupted, making everyone look at him.
"I'm guessing this has something to do with it," Bo Ri said, tapping the imprint from the bracelet, "but I'm not entirely sure. It's the first time the Geumganggo has done this,"
"Well, it was a new model," Ma Wang said, earning him another glare of Oh Gong.
"So you were trying to test this out on my? As if I was a lab rat?" the man accused him, and Ma Wang shrugged unapologetic.
"More of a lab monkey," Ma Wang answered cheekily, "as if you wouldn't have done the same to me,"
"That's besides my point," Oh Gong grumbled, sitting up a little, but finding himself dizzy.
"Careful there. It still took a lot out of you," Bo Ri said, and Seon Mi moved forward, letting the taller man now lean against her.
"Oh, he's awake," Bu Ja said, entering the now full room and looking a little surprised at the amount of people in there.
"It's time for the ritual," Oh Gong stated, looking at the time, "well, let's get it over with, because I'm tired, but I'm sure that Bo Ri still has something to say about our little situation with the Dark Dragon,"
"I do," Bo Ri said, "nothing that can't wait for an hour,"
"Then let's get going," Oh Gong said, groaning when he tried to get out of bed. Seon Mi looked at him, full of worry and hurriedly getting out of bed to help him.
