Louis' POV
This was an ambush. All Liam said was that he wanted me to come over to watch a soccer match on TV. I loved soccer, so it wasn't that hard to convince me. Besides, my girlfriend was out of town and so was my sister so the only person I really had to entertain me was Oli, but he was the type of guy who fit in everywhere. I could take him to Liam's house. In fact, it'd probably be more fun if I did. What I didn't know was that I was not the only person Liam invited. He also invited Harry, which wouldn't even be that big a deal since Harry and I hang out all the time, but it became a big deal when Niall turned up. Me and Liam had hung out solo. Me and Harry had hung out solo. Even me and Niall had hung out solo. But the four of us together? It hadn't happened since One Direction broke up and I instantly knew what was going on. Liam was trying to ambush us. Harry seemed to sense it too because as soon as we heard Niall's Irish ass voice bellowing through the house we both gave each other a look. A "what the fuck" look.
"Liaaaam." Harry scolded.
"Louis! Harry!" Niall exclaimed, coming into the room, pointing at us like we were in trouble. Niall didn't seem too bothered by the fact that Liam had tricked us all into being here. Niall Horan was like that golden retriever friend, always just happy to be anywhere that he was. Even now he had a smile on his face as if Liam Payne had not somehow tricked us all into being here.
"What is this?" I asked.
"What? Just guys hanging out." Liam shrugged.
"He's going to ask to take a selfie next." Harry mumbled.
"You two have all the wrong attitude. We can be friends without there being a secret motive. I mean we spent years together." Niall explained.
"So you're on his side?" Harry asked.
"I just thought it'd be nice for us to all hang out again." Liam said.
"See I might just believe that if you hadn't kept it a secret the entire time. Why didn't you just out and tell us what you were planning?" I wondered.
"Because you wouldn't have come, I know how you guys feel about us all being together..."
"I have nothing wrong with us all being together, I just don't want us all together for the sake of being together." I said.
"Come on lads, let's not fight!" Oli exclaimed, coming into the room with a big bottle of tequila and a stack of shot glasses. He sat them both down on the coffee table and we all looked up at him unsure.
"Come on, the girls are gone, when are we gonna get a chance to just hang out again without there being some type of deep life conversation?" Oli asked me. I rolled my eyes, but sat up and he poured me a shot and handed it to me. Then he poured himself one.
"To getting fucked up?" He asked.
"To getting fucked up." I agreed. Then we cheers-ed our glasses and took our shots.

Ava's POV
I was in my room. It had stayed my room, untouched, even more so than Abuela's. Like they were expecting me to come back. There were pictures of my boyfriend on the wall. I left here a Louis stan and came back his girlfriend. The bed felt smaller than I remembered, even though I had only been away for a few months. Yet somehow everything about being here felt the same as it did my entire life. Lonely. Not like Home. My goal was to spend the night here tonight, as like a final goodbye type of sentimental bullshit moment, but I already felt like I just wanted to go back to Aunt May's and lay on the couch with Stella. I had left so much of my life here in this room, but it didn't feel like my life anymore. Just who I used to be. So there I was on my tiny bed contemplating this when my phone rang. Louis was FaceTiming me. Sigh. I loved Louis. He was so sweet. He was probably in bed like I was, knowing I couldn't sleep, just thinking about me.
