Stella's POV

"So nothing happened?" Ava asked. We were sitting in the living room of the Airbnb now, because we had in fact been kicked out of our hotel, and were telling Ava all about our super exciting and riveting dirt biking trip. And by super exciting and riveting I mean it was totally and completely average.

"I don't think we got over 30 miles an hour." Peter replied, his tone bored.

"That wasn't real dirt biking Stella, you gotta let me and Parker take you real dirt biking one day." Flash said to me. Apparently Flash did know how to dirt bike after all, which is why Peter invited him. Apparently those two go dirt biking like on a regular basis. Flash said Peter bought them each one when he got his first movie deal paycheck because you know, what else are you supposed to do when you receive hundreds of thousands of dollars for selling your life story to Hollywood producers?

"Yeah right, that's not fucking happening." Louis commented, coming into the room after just being outside smoking. "We almost died like 30 times out there."

"You just said nothing happened!" Ava complained, kicking at me but missing.

"We did not almost die, your man is dramatic. Took him like half an hour just to figure out how to get on the bike." I replied.

"You say that like Flash didn't have to physically pick you up and put you on Peter's bike." Louis countered.

"Only because you practically wrapped me in bubble wrap. Ava, this man put me in so much protective gear I couldn't even move!" I complained.

"Good, because knowing you it was a miracle nothing happened to you. I'm surprised you didn't trip on the way to the van this morning and scraped yourself up." Ava teased.

"You would've liked it Ava, we had fun." Oli commented.

"You could've rode on the back of my bike like Stella. I could've wrapped you in bubble wrap." Louis replied.

"That's a hard no. It's a no for dirt bikes, it's a no for driving cars, it's a no for horses..."

"Horses?!" Louis and Oli exclaimed. Peter and I didn't even flinch. Occasionally when we were growing up we'd see horse drawn carriages in Central Park and I always told Ava how one day I wanted to ride in one and she always said she didn't trust horses. Ava also didn't trust librarians, cops or any member of any religion, but that was just Ava for you.

"I saw a movie once where a horse saw a snake and freaked out and launched the girl off of him and ran away and ever since then I've been traumatized." Ava shrugged.

"That's so weird." Oli commented.

"Horses are..." I said.

"Not the horse thing, the fact that you sat through a movie long enough to get traumatized from it." Oli interrupted.

"Damn." Peter laughed, and then reached over to fist bump Oli.

"Yes, yes, make fun of the girl with ADHD. Speaking of which! I'm bored. Come on Stella, you're going to take me and Peter to Target." Ava replied, before standing up.

"I am?" I wondered.

"Please Stella, I beg of you." She responded, taking my hand.

"I'll take you to Target." Louis chimed in.

"Absolutely not! I requested Stella!" Ava exclaimed.

"Can I go?" Flash asked, as I got up to go find my shoes. Ava was bossy, but it wasn't like her ideas weren't good ideas. I mean, going to Target was always a good time. Plus it was the Fourth of July and as I've said once before, I love a good holiday.
