The earth shook as Tiamut began to rise from the waters around us. I looked out at the large Celestial, sharing a look with the others that we needed to move now and stop this before it was too late.
"Go, I've got him" Phastos nodded to me. He pinned Ikaris down further, face pressed to the dirt. Ikaris let out a shout as he pulled himself up laser shooting at the sky with all of his might, knocking us all back by the force of it. He lunged to his feet and grabbed me by the throat like he once did to Druig.
"I should have killed you back then" He admitted through a snarl as my eyes widened with slight fear of him.
"You could never kill me" I shook my head, strong set mind taking over once again.
"But I already did, when I killed Druig" He taunted, only feeding my anger.
"No" I said simply, sending frost from me to him, causing him to release me at the sudden coldness that over took his body.
"Makkari!" I called out for her. She sped over and raced me across towards the palm of the hand poking out of the water while Thena held off Ikaris, reminding herself that she would always help and protect me because of her promise to Gilgamesh.
"Not so fast" Thena went to fight Ikaris, standing in front of him while we landed beside Sersi.
Makkari and Sersi stood back and I pressed both palms of my hands to the celestial. Ikaris landed in front of us moments later, eyes glowing gold prepared to shoot. Sersi stepped in front of me, taking another step closer to Ikaris and holding his face in her hands. She kept him back, giving me the chance to use my anger towards him to fuel my power.
Ikaris let a tear slip past his eyes while my eyes went cold as ice, sending a chill through my body and into the celestial. A golden glow overtook my body yet again, lifting me into the air as the bond started again. Sprite felt the back of her head as she stood up, looking to Druig confused before he was lifted by the golden glow as well, Sprite right after him.
On the beach Phastos and Thena lifted up glowing before Makkari and Sersi followed. Ikaris looked down as the glow encased him to and he joined Sersi in the air. A ball of energy shot out above me, forcing me back into the palm, my hands touched down and the conection gave me the energy to power everything into stopping the celestial from being born. The ice quickly spread over it, reaching each of its fingertips and its head down to its very core.
Everything fell silent as the celestial became frozen, completely. I breathed heavily as Makkari knelt by my side, rubbing my back with pride as I smiled up at her with relief that we did it. Ikaris glanced around to see what had happened while Sersi faced him again. More tears fell from his eyes as he dropped to his knees in defeat, Sersi kneeling in front of him.
"I'm sorry." He looked to hear as I closed my eyes, unable to listen to him.
"I know." Sersi nodded. She rested her forehead against his gently as he reeled from what he had done. He looked back to me only to see the same look that could kill returned to him, knowing he could never fix the damage he had done to me. Sersi stood with him, Ikaris flying off into the sky until he reached the sun, burning inside it preferring that over an icy death.
Makkari sped us both back to the others on the beach where the sun had began to set with peace. I approached Thena slowly and she opened her arms, hugging me close while I let a single tear fall for the lost Eternals.
"You are strong, he knew you would stop this" She pulled back and wiped away my tear, knowing that my need to save the human was a trait I got from Druig.
"How? How did you do it?" Phastos wondered when we separated to face the others.
"When I touched Tiamut's palm, I felt energy surging into me. Tiamut joined our UniMind." I explained the feeling from moments ago.
