The next day Quinn pretended to be sick to stay home and not have to face Matteo but Quinn's mom made her go she was just trying to finish the day but once in math had rolled around she felt sick so she went to the bathroom before she left she had snuck her lighter and let it and pressed it against her arm, burning her self. She quickly pulled down her sleeve like she wasn't doing anything.
.All Quinn heard was "Quinn what are you doing?" Quinn shot up and tucked the lighter away in her pants pocket and Quinn replied with " I could ask the same thing why are you in the girls bathroom?"
All Matteo could say was "I saw you come in her so I followed hoping we could talk" Quinn just walked out and left with her stuff and went home. When her mom asked why she was home all she said was "I didn't feel good, so I left".she went to her room and fell asleep and woke up to a faint tap on her window tap.. tap..tap she walked to her curtains and flung them open seeing Matteo
as Quinn opens her window to let Matteo in as he climbs in Quinn asked what she was doing here and Matteo just replied with " I wanted to see you and check if you were ok". Quinn just stared at him with a blank face and siad quietly "at 2 in the morning?"
Still looking at him, but her mind was flooded with things she wanted to say but landed on just saying "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry for kissing you, I didn't mean to, Im sorry if you feel uncomfortable and I don't want to lose you over one dumb thing I did. You're my best friend and I hope we can still be friends, but if you don't I understand"
Matteo just stood there in shock and just replied softly "Quinn its ok I still want to be your friend and noting would change that." They stared at each others eyes for a hot second. They slowly leaned closer and kissed for a solid minute and they finally broke apart to take a breath and chuckled and just continue kissing trying not to wake up Quinn's mom and Matteo chuckled into the kiss Quinn and Matteo finally stopped kissing and just laid down and fell asleep.
Quinn jerked up when she heard her alarm go off, she carefully woke up Matteo and told her he could get something out of her closet he just picked up a bag he brought last night that Quinn did the see and he pulled out some jeans and a hoodie as for Quinn she got some ripped jeans and a white hoodie. As they walked to Quinn's car her mom came out to say "I didn't know Matteo came bye". Quinn just said "bye mom we really gota go by the way I'm spending the night with Eliza and Jade"
Quinn's mom just smiled as they drove off. They talked about everything but what happened last night. Once math rolled around Matteo and Quinn kept glancing at each other until Mrs. Crowe said "Ok so partner up for this paper" Quinn and Matteo just looked at each other and laughed. Quinn went to sit next to Matteo.
Once the bell rang they turned in the papers and Quinn asked Eliza and Jade if Matteo could tag along and they said it was ok so they all left to go to Quinns car. Eliza and Jade rode the bus and they all got in so Quinn and Matto could get some spare cloths and an overnight bag. They all left for Eliza's house and watched movies and ate snacks and at midnight they decided to watch the new movie smile and when a jump scare appeared Quinn and everybody else yelped.
Quinn jumped into Matteo's lap and lucky nobody noticed but Quinn felt a bulge in Jayden's pants. Jayden just whispered into Quinn's ear "Did that scare you" and Matteo just smirked and Quinn knew it to. And when Quinn realized that she was sitting on Matteo's lap she just stayed there and didn't dare move. After the movie was over they watched another horror movie and by that time it was around 3:50 in the morning so they decided to head to bed.
Eliza and Jade slept in the bed and Matteo and Quinn slept on a blowup mattress together spooning. Quinn opened her eyes and saw Eliza and Jade laughing so hard at the thought they were cuddling. As Quinn tried to explain that is was really nothing and Jade just said "mmmm sure" and smirked
by that time Matteo was awake so Quinn had them all get dressed and ready and drive them all to a build your own pancakes place and Eliza asked "So Matteo I never asked are you dating anyone?" Quinn started to choke on her strawberry banana pancakes from laughing but quickly stopped and Matteo just replied with "I'm single and happy".
And Jade glanced over to Quinn and smirked Quinn had said she had to use the bathroom and she felt her self smiling and heat rise in her cheeks as she walked away. She had sat in the bathroom for a second. Then Jade walked in and said "Quinn I know it your in here blushing come out and I wanna tell you something"
Quinn appeared behind Jade asking "what is it?" Jade jumped and said "don't do that to me but uhh....you like Matteo don't you?" Quinn just smiled and nodded Jade just said "called it well he us available" and walked off. Quinn ran after her and they all finished their pancakes and they all got back into Quinn's car with Matteo in the passenger seat and Eliza and Jade in the back.
Quinn had dropped off Eliza and Jade at their houses but Matteo and her went for a drive. They went to a park and walked around for a bit. By the time the sun had set they had been out together for hours and they were watching the sky and the sunset together in the back of Quinn's car.
