Chapter 3: Him

Three months ago.
—Eden Resident

Moonjo's  POV

"I'll tell you something.. something shocking" I said calmly as I looked into Jongwoo's eyes, visible fear plastered on his face. "I'll let you go" "what?" "but you have to kill everyone here." I looked into his eyes, a crazed look on my face. "I..." he startled. "I will kill them all.." hearing him saying that left a smile on my face.

Minutes passed by and I saw him on the fourth floor. I walked over to him, a psycho look on my face. "Wasn't it fun?" I said while still walking towards him. "Killing everyone. Wasn't it fun?" Jongwoo said nothing but stared at the ground. "Ish..... You said I am crazy, killing people for fun but you know it yourself. You had fun watching them die.." I stopped saying and tilted his chin to look at me in the eye.

"You enjoyed watching them die. You wished they all die and now they all are. You are happy, aren't you Jagiya?" His eyes widen, and he suddenly dropped his knife. He snapped out of his crazed self and a guilty expression on his face.

Whenever he wants to cry, he always pout. Suddenly, my heart flutters. Gosh.. why is he so cute. Despite making him one of my masterpiece, I caught feelings for him in the process which is the reason why I couldn't kill him. "I-I.. I didn't kill them" he said that like all over again.

I sighed and pulled him closed, whispering in his ears. "It's okay.. I'll make it look like I killed them. Don't worry, I won't let the police catch you. Pretend that you killed me. Pretend that you stabbed me too."

"..what..?" He looked at me. I smiled at him. "You killed me.. you killed me. You KILLED me." I took the knife on the floor and gave it to him, controlling his hands in the process. I made him move his hand by slashing my neck over and over again. I was manipulating him into thinking he killed me.

I fell to the floor, blood dripping down my neck. "Jagiya, Now you and I will be together forever.." I said smiling at him. "No we won't.. because I killed you." Jongwoo finally said. I manipulated him into thinking he killed me. "Jagiya.. amongst other people, you are the best masterpiece I've created" I laughed crazily as he stumbled back and fall to the floor, collapsing and drifting into darkness. I got up, touching my neck on the place when blood was dripping.

"Jagiya.. you are so beautiful" I said as I crouched down to look closely at him. Although I made him killed everyone, I couldn't stand letting the police handcuffing him so I'd rather take the blame instead. I felt guilty for making him like this. I ruffled his hair and then I got up to all of the messed made by Jongwoo and "made" it look like I killed them by leaving finger prints and blood trace. After that, I cleaned myself up and got out of the resident, without anyone noticing. By the time I reached the back of the building, I heard police sirens.

I stopped in my track then made a left turn, waking all the way to the long rainbow staircase, leading up to the Eden's resident. By the time I reached there again, I saw Jongwoo's injured body in the ambulance and his.. girlfriend on a different ambulance.

I stopped a bit and smiled at the scene. Until next time, Jagiya.. I will not let you go the next time I see you. I laughed to myself then walked away.

Now you might be wondering where I am staying. Well, I've been hiding something from everyone. Despite being an orphan when I was young, I inherited tons of money from my dead parents so money was never a problem for me. I did what I did because I am.. well because I simple enjoy it. Well maybe I am a bit sick in my head. I disguised myself to fit in well by becoming a highly skilled dentist and made even more money.

Upon leaving the residence, I always wear my mask wherever I go to avoid being recognized. To the world, I am dead as later on Jongwoo admitted to killing me. I found it fascinating how no one even saw my 'dead' body and pronounced me dead.

I walked over to the atm machine and withdraw some money, enough to buy a place, some clothes for disguise and many.. lots of money. "Hmm.. that should last me for a while.. maybe I should purchase my own atm machine and keep it at my new house" I debated on that for a while but decided on not buying it instead because it would be too much work to set it up.

After that, I went to a car dealership and bought a car with tinted windows, both front and back seats. It's a pretty expensive car but like I said, money is never a problem for me. I drove back to my temporary apartment at the Mirage. I pulled up to the parking lots and quickly went upstairs.

3 months later.

It has been three months. I never went out of my way to find Jongwoo because I believed in destiny. If I was destined to see Jongwoo again then let it be it. I was scrolling through my phone when I saw a news article with the headline:

The Eden's Resident Case. APPARENTLY EVERYONE WAS NOT KILLED BY SEO MOON-JO?! WHO COULD BE THE KILLER? COULD SEO MOON-JO ACTUALLY BE INNOCENT?

I looked at the released date of the article and saw it was just recently made 4 days ago. "Huh.." I decided to do more research by searching my own name in google and found many videos, many are theories about how I am still alive.

I watched through many videos and most of them are stupid however some of them caught my eyes. One of them being too accurate.

"So how can we know if Seo Moon-jo died for sure? I mean we never even see his dead body being lifted out like the others. This leads to another suspicion on Yoon Jongwoo. Recently a police officer, Ms So Jung Hwa. She admitted to hearing sounds from of bracelet dangling. You see, Seo Moonjo doesn't wear a bracelet however Yoon Jongwoo wears a bracelet. So what if Seo was never the murderer and he was innocent all along but Yoon was the one behind all the murder—"

I turned off the video and sighed. Why is this too accurate.. is this person a fbi or something? I decided to head out to the grocery store to buy some beer. While I was in the store, I saw him. In the vegetable isle. Scanning through various vegetables item.

"Jagiya.." I whispered to myself and then he turned around, making eyes contact with me. I smiled at him then hid behind the shelves.

After three months we meet again, Jagiya~
