Chapter 6: Murdering

Moonjo's POV

I walked out of the room into my 'secret' room with all of my dentist stuff in. If I'm being honest, I've never really quit what I'm doing. I still dissect, reassemble then I recreate except... I killed them afterwards. I've been making a necklace for Jongwoo when we meet again and this time I needed one more to complete.

I thought about who I should get the last tooth from and then I got one. I walked over to my board where I pinned my victims' photo and 'potential' victims and I stared at Jung Hwa's picture.

Flashback

I was in a dentist, about to do some work for Jung Hwa's appointment but this time I planned on killing her since she is too close to cracking the case. She's too annoying. She rambled on and on about cats being killed and stuff.

"You know, I read in a book once that murderers began by killing animal. This is not just as a sick joke" I told her. "You think so too?!" She said in shocked. "Why? Do you suspect someone?" "That...I can't pinpoint a person.." and that I knew I had to get rid of her. "Oh! Look at me. I forgot your patient chart! Let me go get it" I said normally and she smiled.

I walked off the chair and walked to her patient chart, stopping to stare at it for a moment then walked over to the security room and looked at the monitor for a moment before unplugging it. There were only her and I in the clinic because it was past closing time.

I slowly took out the needle that I always used to inject others before killing them and fill it with Articaine, it's a time of anesthetic drug. I used this because it took effect faster than any other anesthetic. I walked out of the security room, the needle in my finger but suddenly I heard her talking on the phone.

"I'm at the dentist" she said and I stopped in my track, behind her. Maybe not today I thought to myself as I sighed. She got off the bed and I quickly hid the syringe behind me.

"I'm so sorry but I have to go and I made you wait!" She apologized. "It's okay, you have lots of work" she apologized again and excused herself. "Safe travel!" I said smiling "thank you!" She said back.

As she disappeared from the view I stopped smiling, a dark expression on my face. I vowed to myself I'll get her next time for sure.

After the Eden's Incident
-At the hospital.

I walked into the elevator, planning on taking the last glance at Jongwoo. Just as the elevator door was closing I suddenly saw officer Jung Hwa and she was looking at me, visible fear in her eyes. I flashed her a creepy smile before the elevator door shut. As I got to the floor, I stopped then decided to head back downstairs, abandoning the plan of seeing Jongwoo to stalking that officer instead

I need to see her license plate and which car she took so I could easily take her out. As I stood behind a tree, she appeared and walked over to a blue car. I recognized the license plate easily and made a mental note to myself. The next time I saw her, I'll kill her.

I looked over to her picture on the victim chart then prepared to abduct her at nighttime. I got the anesthesia ready and waited until it was night time to strike.

It was night time and I pinpointed her location down to a local dentist. I made sure to cut off any security cameras around by hacking into the system and hid at the parking lot, waiting for her. I wore my gloves and as I finished wearing it, she appeared out of the dentist into the parking lot. She was walking towards her car, trying to unlock it then I swiftly walked toward her, grabbed her neck and injected the anesthesia. "..y-you—" I quickly use my hand to cover her mouth tight and smiled at her viciously, watching her passed out.

When she did, I dragged her into my car and quickly drove back home. My house is in an isolated area where you cannot find by accident. You have to dig deep to find it. As I parked my car, I got out of the driver seat and took her out, dragging her to the basement where my 'room of recreation' stood.

I placed her onto the bed and placed the tool to keep her mouth opened, strapping her hands and legs to prevent her from running away. As I was getting the tools ready, she slowly woke up and tried to muffle a scream. I looked at her and smiled at her.

I took out the tape for a moment to let her speak. I don't care if she screams or talk too loud, this room is soundproof anyway. "Hello officer, we meet again" y-y-you! H-how—" "I was never dead." I quickly cut her off as she cried tears. I laughed at her.

"The last time we met at the dentist.. I failed to get rid of you as you needed to go to the station but now I won't fail.." before she could say anyway I put the tool back in her mouth and began taking out her tooth, making her bleed.

I listened to her cries of pain without sympathy and after a while, I finished. "Stay here for a bit, let me finish this" I told her as I hold the necklace to her face I took out the device to let her enjoy her last minutes of freedom before she die. "Why are you doing this! You could've been a good person! You were a doctor too for fuck sake!!"

"No reason.. I just enjoy what I do" As I finished, I hold up the necklace to her face. "Look, isn't it pretty?" I held up a tooth "this one is that annoying coworker of Jongwoo's" I held up another one "and this is yours" she cried more.

I stood up from my seat, grabbing a knife in the process. "You know.. you should have never investigated into our case. You could've lived" I said as I raise the knife to her neck. "N-no p-please I'm sorry—" before she could finish her sentence, I slit her throat, killing her. After she was dead, I dragged her body to the incinerator to incinerate her body into ashes. As I finished, I walked over to the board and moved her picture into the 'dead' category.

I sanitize the whole place up, getting rid of her DNA as I head back to find Jongwoo, with the necklace in my hand.
