Chapter 5: Reunited

Jongwoo's POV

I regained my consciousness. I slowly opened my eyes to see myself in a dark, large bedroom. All the curtains were closed. The only light source I see is from the lamp. I was lying in a king size bed. Where am I? Am I kidnapped? Suddenly, I was panicking because I didn't know where I was. I kept looking around until I see a family tall figure standing by the door, holding something. Then it all hit me.

The news, the confession, the runaway, the police officer, the ... those things that police did to me, Him, him killing the police officer. Moonjo!

"Moonjo..?" I called out, my voice was so small and hoarse. "Ah..Jagiya" he said calmly and walked towards me. As he reached me, he sat beside me on the bed and place a bowl of something on the nightstand.

"Good morning jagiya" "w-what? H-how—" I startled. It suddenly became hard to breath, my vision got blurry. I instinctively threw the blanket over my head and burry myself in the cover. I was sobbing. I felt a cold hand on my back then sent shivers down my spine.

"Jagiya.. everything is alright. I'm sure you have a lot of questions. If you ask me, I will answer it" after he said it, I slowly peeked outside the cover to look at him. "Really?" "I'll answer honestly." "Okay.."

I got out of the cover and sat against the bed frame. "Firstly.. where am I?" "At my house" "what?" "Well.. I bought this house three months ago but I've been staying at the Mirage.. I was saving this house for us" "how did you know I was staying at the mirage?" "I didn't."

I looked up at him in confusion. "I was just trying to find a place to stay and came across there. I never knew I'd find you there.. also regarding in the grocery store, I was only there to buy a beer and I saw you" oh. "Oh.. okay"

I sighed. "Well.. How are you.. you know—alive? I killed you! I stabbed you!" "Jagiya..You never killed me." More visible confusion. I sat there listening as he explained what happened that day. I couldn't believe it. I was going crazy and hallucinated into thinking I killed him. Upon hearing this, I couldn't help myself but cry, and cry until I felt a strong hand wrapping around me.

"It's okay... The police are looking for you outside. Now they believe that I am alive too.." he said while gently caressing my back. "But don't worry.. I'll take care of you. I'll take care of everything." I sobbed. I shouldn't be this vulnerable to the man who supposedly made me became one of his best masterpiece. I shouldn't be feeling this way towards him. He's crazy.

"You have no idea how much I missed you Jagiya" I looked at him in the eye, finally studying his appearance again after 3 months. He had gotten so much more handsome and attractive. His muscle is big and strong, his jaw is sharp, his long dark hair fell effortlessly beautifully, his eyes are still dark and intense as before. He was looking at me lovingly.

"I see you're still wearing my gift" he said as he lifted my hand. "Come one, eat the food I made you.. no human meat this time and definitely no drug" "wait hold on, did you say no human meat this time?" "Yeah, remember that raw meat from last time?, it was 302's meat." "HUH?! No wonder it tastes so weird!"

He chuckled as he handed me the bowl of rice mixed up with seaweed and more things. "Eat up .. feel free to wander around the house. I'll be out for a bit" I nodded as he patted my head and kissed my forehead.

I was screaming internally and blushing. It had been awhile since I've received a kiss. I would be lying if I said I hated it but I hated myself for loving the kiss. I sighed and took a glance at the room, I saw my phone on the nightstand and a TV remote. I took the tv remote and turned on the TV and switched it to the news channel.

"We had found a dead body of a police officer. The way he was killed was strangely familiar. Detective has examined the method of killing and found out that he got something injected into him then the murderer slit his neck. Now, this is oddly familiar to how Seo Moonjo's method of killing. Could he actually be alive? Now we are going to look into this case more—"

I sighed as I switched the channel to Netflix and turned on a random movie. Everyone is getting on too quick. The Eden's case resolving, Moonjo's dead or alive. I turned off the TV after I finished eating and so I get off of bed and wandered around the house until I found the kitchen downstairs. His house is fully furnished but it was so dark and gloomy.
