Chapter 7

Chen's POV

"Hyung! Whose handphone is this?" asked Sehun.

"Mwo? Let me see," i said. "It's pink? Ah! Is it Hyeri's?"

"Maybe. She was in a hurry, so i think it's her's. Chase after her, hyung. I think they haven't gotten that far yet."

"Aish, i have such a clumsy twin.." i muttered while opening the front door.

I ran towards my house. She must be around here.

"...But i've warned you before! Please stay away from Chanyeol oppa!" huh? Isn't it Sungra's voice? I think she's crying. But where is she?

"I didn't even try to get closer to him, Sungra!" now it's Hyeri's voice. As i walked forward, the voices are getting louder in my ears.

"But you didn't try to get away from him either!" Sungra shrieked. "I've never left your side when you were sad or mad! But this is what you give me?"

"You don't know anything, Sungra! Remember when you liked our friend in college? I always supported you to make him fall in love with you too, but there's something you don't know.. it's that i liked him too! I buried my feelings so deep so that i felt like i might die! I cried everynight and told myself not to bury my feelings anymore but i just couldn't bring myself to do it! You're my best friend! I can't see you getting hurt just because of my stupid feelings, Sungra.. and now i think i can't do it anymore.. because.. i like Chanyeol too.." now i can see them clearly. Hyeri and Sungra are facing each other. I think they're having some girls problem right now. I decided to hide behind a car.

"B-but.. i can't give him up too, Hyeri.. whatever i do it'll be really hard to get rid of this feeling.." so the two of them likes Chanyeol? Why.. does my heart hurt so bad?

"I didn't ask you to get rid of your feeling towards him, Sungra-ya. Let's just be friends like we used to."

"But what about Chanyeol? What should we do?" Chanyeol this, Chanyeol that. Can't they stop talking about him?!

"Let's compete." Okay i can't take this anymore.

"Hey, guys?" i said. They were pretty surprised. Hyeri looked another way to wipe her tears while Sungra looked down at her shoes to wipe her tears too.

"What were you guys talking about?"

"A-amugeotdo anya (n-nothing).." said Sungra, still looking at her shoes.

"Hey.. were you guys.. crying?" i asked.

"No! Not at all! We were just.. talking. Ehm, what brings you here?" Hyeri tried to change the topic.

"Uhm, here, your handphone. You left it on the dining table," i said.

"Uh, thanks.." she said. "I gotta go. See ya." I nodded.

"Sungra, your eyes are swollen.." i said and she just nodded but still looking down.

"Do you want an ice cream?" i asked. She then looked at me in the eye slowly. Wow her eyes, nose, cheeks are all red. "S-sungra are you sick?" i ask worriedly. She doesn't look good. "Do you want to go home? I'll take you home."

"N-no.. i just want an ice cream.." she said.

"But-"

"Please?" she looked at me with her puppy eyes. How could i resist?

"O-okay, if you insist.." i said finally.

We then go to the park and eat ice cream on the swings. I got the vanilla flavor and she got the chocolate one. She said it's her favorite flavor.

"Why were you guys crying back there?" i asked. She looked empty. "We.. had a girls fight.."

"Um.. may i ask why?" she then looked at me in the eye. "C-can i trust you?"

"Sure. You can rely on me whenever you have a problem.." i said with a smile. She looked at her shoes again.

"...yeol."

"What?"

"C-chanyeol."

"What about him?" i asked like i don't know anything. But deep inside of my heart, it hurts just to hear her said his name.

"We.. fight over him. I.. i didn't know that she had been suffering because of me back then in college.. i'm such a bad friend.." she said. She starts sniffing again. "Hyeri.. had been suffering because of me.. because of my stupid feelings.."

"Is it.. about your crush in college?"

"H-how do you know that?"

"She told me and Chan- ah.. i mean.."

"It's okay. She told you and Chanyeol, didn't she? She has right to tell that story.." she said with a bitter smile. She then continued, "She liked him too.. i really didn't see that coming. If i had sensed something about her.. it wouldn't be like this.. even at School Food, i warned her to stay away from Chanyeol. I didn't realize how she felt at that time, just like when we had the same crush. I'm so stupid!" she started crying. I now realize how vulnerable she is. I then stand in front of her and pull her into my arms. "It's okay.. it's not your fault.." i said and her tears starting to flow even more that i feel like my jacket will be really wet after this. But it's alright, as long as she will feel better and not blame herself anymore.

A few minutes passed and now she has stopped crying. But.. i feel heat around my shoulder. "Sungra?" i asked. But there is no response at all. "Sungra?" i asked again. Now i pull her head away from my shoulder slowly and place her on the swing. I checked her temperature by placing my hand on her forehead. Oh my goodness. She has a fever!

I decided to carry her on my back to take her home. But since i don't know where her house is, i carried her to my house. There's Hyeri so she can take care of her.

I knocked the door. "Hyeri-ya!" half a minute later, she opened the door. "Oh my gosh what happened to Sungra?! Get her in! Ppalli!"

"Where-"

"In my room!"

"You should go get some-"

"Okay i'll bring some medicine! I'll make her porridge too!"

"Please be-"

"I'll be fast, don't worry!"

"Don't panic, o-"

"I'm not!" she shouted while running to the kitchen. I think our special 'twins' telepathy has been built. While Hyeri's gone, i placed a wet cold towel on her forehead. She's such a sleepyhead. How could she fall asleep while crying on my shoulder?

I studied her face while waiting for Hyeri to bring the medicine and porridge for Sungra. She has red cheeks when she's sick. And i mean really, really red. Her eyelashes really fit her face well. Her eyebrows are perfect. Her lips.. are just too beautiful.

I think i have fallen in love deeper with you, Sungra-ya.
