Author's POV
It's been 3 months after they saw each other. Even Chanyeol doesn't contact Hyeri all those months. Tao also doesn't contact Hyunseul. And Chen.. doesn't contact Sungra at all. He doesn't even ask about her to Hyeri. Everything went normal like it used to be before they knew Exo members. Until...
Knock knock.
He and Hyeri are actually having a dinner because Exo's having a day off after their latest comeback. Their dad? He never even went home since Chen was 7 years old. He was nursed by two maids and a driver. Then when he turned 20, they all resigned and he joined the SM trainee, so he never went home again, until a day before Hyeri came to Korea.
Chen opened the door. There he saw...
Sungra.
"S-Sungra?"
"Chen?"
They kept in silence until Sungra said that it was cold outside. So Chen let her in. "What are you doing here?" asked her.
"The question is why are you here?" asked Chen back. They're confused, really confused. Then Hyeri came.
"Hey, Sungra. I.. invited you to join our dinner, that's all," said Hyeri casually.
"But-"
"Shh, just shut up, okay?" she said. Then they all went to the dining room and took a seat.
"Here, the spaghetti," said Hyeri.
"Hyeri-ya.." Sungra called. "Hm?" then the telepathy started.
"Why do you invite me? You didn't even tell that Chen's here"
"I want you to meet him once again, you seem so sad these days"
"But i promised not to see Exo members anymore!"
"Just eat! I know you're happy to meet him once again. These days you're only talking about him"
"Aish!"
"Guys? What.. are you doing?" Chen asked.
"N-nothing. Just eat, will ya?"
"Why do you keep getting mad these days? Geez."
-skip to after dinner-
"So.. i'll go back home, okay?" said Sungra. Then she continued, "Thanks for the meal. It was really delicious."
"Yeah, come anytime you want! Bye, Sungra-ya!" said Hyeri before the door was closed.
"She.. looked healthy.." Chen muttered.
"She is. But not her heart. It's not fully healed yet. Now, are you happy? She was just talking about you these days, Chen. She likes you, in my opinion. But still, she can't get any closer to you," Hyeri said.
"Because i'm a Hallyu star?" Hyeri nodded. "You know? Chanyeol felt the same as me. He didn't spread any happy viruses anymore.. he sometimes cried in silence at night. And i think you already know the reason, Hyeri-ya. Don't you want to meet him?"
"No! I don't know the reason and i don't want to know it either. Now excuse me, i gotta go to my room. I.. still have some things to do."
"But you said tomorrow's your day off?"
"Y-yeah.. i'm going to do some.. other things? Ah, i'll just go to my room, okay?"
Hyeri has been working in Sungra's dad's company. Two weeks after Exo and the girls last met, the company's finally having a job vacancy for Hyeri. She works as an architect just like Sungra.
Chanyeol's POV
It's been 3 months, Hyeri-ya. I don't even have a picture of you. I miss you so much. Even in the last comeback of Exo, i wasn't that focused and often made our coaches mad. I just couldn't think clearly. I missed her so much. I couldn't bring myself to contact her because our agency has warned us not to be close to any girls.
"Chanyeol-ah.. why do you keep being like this? You don't even compose songs in the last 3 months. What happened to you? Still thinking about Hyeri?" asked Baekhyun. I nodded hesitantly. "You know our agency has been warning us over and over again, don't you?" he asked again. I nodded. "But i still miss her! What should i do?"
"I know you do, but you can't keep being like this. Our fans are starting to ask why you don't post anything in instagram in the last 3 months.. they'll be worried about you!"
"But-"
"Stop acting pathethic andd continue life! I even accepted just like that when you said that you were already in a relationship with Hyeri. Now you just gotta do the same!"
"...you're right. i've got to continue life. I'll meet her again in the right time.."
-skip to the morning-
"Chanyeol! Wake up! Wake up!" Chen tried to wake Chanyeol up panicly.
"What? It's still 9 in the morning!"
"Hyeri's missing!"
"WHAT?!" i then quickly wake up and asked once again. "Hyeri's missing?!"
"Yeah! I knocked her room this morning but there's no answer! Then i opened the door and saw everything's clean even the bed!" he said panicly. I quickly change my clothes, brush my teeth and wear my coat, mask, hat and shoes.
"Chen! Let's look for her together! Right now!" i shouted and he followed me. The other members aren't awake yet, so we just left a message in the living room. This week is a free week for us anyway.
"Where should we go? Do you have any idea where she went? She's not even familiar with Seoul yet!" i asked after we're outside the dorm.
"Let's ask Sungra! She must know where she has been going recently," said Chen. Then we immediately went to Sungra's house.
Knock knock.
"Coming~" we heard her voice from inside.
"C-Chen? Chanyeol? What are you guys doing here in the morning?" she asked.
"We have a condition. Hyeri's missing!" i said straight to the point.
"WHAT?! I'll go get my coat, wait here!" she said panicly then ran to get her coat.
"How is it possible? Have you tried to call her or text her?" she asked right after she locked the door.
"I have, and she's not answering her phone. She also didn't reply to my text messages," Chen answered. "Do you know a place she likes to go?"
"She has been going to many different places with me recently," she answered.
"Hmm.. the most memorable trip you guys had? Where was it?" i asked.
"Hmm.. we went to camping in the mountain.. but i doubt she'll go there since she's afraid to be alone," she said.
"She's afraid to be alone? Ah eotteokhae eotteokhae?!" i panicked.
"If she's afraid to be alone then she must be in a crowded place. Where do you think she is?" Chen asked calmly, but i can still see worry in his eyes.
"I think.. she's in the beach! We went there last month! Yeah, i'm sure she's there! She said that whenever she has a problem she'll probably go there," she explained.
"Which beach? It's winter, how could she be in the beach?" i asked.
"She's a weird person, Chanyeol. You won't understand the way she's thinking if you don't know her that well," she said.
