Chapter 20: Found

Lucy P.O.V

While walking towards the school, I started to feel embarrassed. I kept fiddling with my thumbs while walking.

What should I do? I'm super grateful but...how can I say thank you in an even more meaningful way?

After moments of awkward silence, I opened my mouth to speak. "Hey..." We said at the same time. Natsu looked away while scratching his head. "Sorry, you go first..." He said still looking away.

"Um...I just wanna say thanks, for saving me."

"No prob." He said while looking back.

When he finally looked back, I took the chance to quickly kiss him on the cheek. "Th-h-That means thank you!" I yelled with a crimson colored face. He looked at me in shock and I took the opportunity to walk further away from him.

While walking forward, I saw Levy sleeping by a tree. I raised my hand to start waving and yelled, "Le-" Then I saw Gajeel-senpai walking up to her. I quickly hid behind a bush and looked at them.

What's he doing?

I saw him squat down in front of her and, he kissed her on the lips. I did a quick squeal and he looked over to me. He smiled and placed his index finger on his lip which meant, 'don't tell'. I nodded and looked away. But when I looked back, he was gone.

I wish I had the guts to do that...

I walked out the bushes and walked over to Levy. I waved my hand in front of her. No reaction...

"Levy!" I yelled.

She opened her eyes and looked at me. "Lucy...? I must be dreaming..." She said while falling back to sleep. "No Levy. It's me."

Levy quickly looked back at me and started to tear up. "Lucy! It really is you!" She yelled while giving a hug.

"Levy...Can't breathe...!"

"Sorry. So, how'd you-" She looked behind me and saw Natsu. "So you really did go save her..."

"Yeah, I did."

She then looked back at me. "What's with the fancy dress?" I did a weak smile, "It's a long story..."

We started walking towards Cana's dad's bakery. "So Lucy, where are you going to be staying?"

I gasped and yelled, "That right! I don't have a place o stay."

Natsu P.O.V

I felt a slight punch on my back "Psss. Natsu."

"What is it Happy?" I whispered.

"Why don't you offer Lucy to stay with us?"

My face turned pink at the thought. Lucy...in my house...?

"Hey Natsu," Levy said.

"Y-yeah."

"Lucy's gonna stay over at my place."

Damn...I missed my chance.

Lucy P.O.V

I walked into Levy's house. It was a small house with 2 rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

"Welcome to mi casa. Mi casa es tu Casa."(Translation: Welcome to my house. My house is your house)

"Wow, you live here alone?"

"No. My mom lives with me but she's out of town. She always sends me the money for the bill so we're good. Oh! Come on, I'll show you to your room."
