Chapter 22: Troubles

A week Later (At school)

Lucy P.O.V

Our homeroom teacher, Mr. Zeref, walked in and sat at his desk. He paced his chin on his hands and stared at us. "Good Morning. Today, a new student will be attending our school." He sighed and mumbled,"Tch. More children..." He looked at the door and yelled, "Come in!"

As the doors open, I fixed my eyes at the doorway. A girl with short white hair entered the class room. My eyes widened for I knew who that was: Lisanna.

She stood in front of the class and smiled. "Hi! I'm Lisanna Strauss. I'm happy to be here~"

"Thank You Lisanna. Now, where to put you..." He scanned the room and finally found a spot. "Natsu, raise your hand."

He raised his hand and he continued, "Sit next to Natsu." She then smiled and skipped happily towards Natsu.

I started to feel a little jealous. "I should've been there." I whispered to myself. Levy then smiled. "Is someone starting to get a little jelly?"

"Jelly? I'm not jelly...much."

While walking to class, Natsu came up to me, and raised his hand, indicating me to stop. "Natsu...what're you doing?"

"I came to comfort you."

"What?"

"Don't think you will be forgotten. You will always have a place in daddy's heart."

"What the-"

He then suddenly forced me into a sudden embrace.

Natsu P.O.V

As I placed my arms around here, I couldn't help but dig my nose into her soft golden hair. Ever since we met, I fell in love with that golden hair, but I was so obsessed with an old love that I didn't want to move on. That's why I acted so cold towards her.

But now that I claim to be her 'father', I can do things without any suspicions of being in love with her.

"Na-Natsu. Why're you suddenly hugging me?"

I broke the embrace and stared at her, "I'm your daddy. And daddies hug their little girls."

She rolled her eyes and walked away.

Lisanna P.O.V

I was walking out the class when I saw Natsu. "Na-" I didn't continue. When I saw him suddenly embrace Lucy, I knew that I was being replaced.

I'm not letting her take my spot. I was here first and I will have his heart!

I picked up my phone and called my sister. I need all the help I can get.

***The next day

Erza P.O.V

I was off duty and decided to head over to homeroom. When I opened the door and entered, the class went silent. They quickly ran back to their desks and sat down like nothing happened.

Am I really that feared...?

I quietly walked over to my desk next to Gajeel. "Why are you here, Captain?"

"You can stop the formalities, Gajeel." I took off my coat and faced him. "Why is everyone so noisy?"

"A new kid's joining the school."

Our homeroom teacher Ms.Vermillion came in cheerfully.

"Good Morning~! I hope everyone is as excited as I am! We're having a new student~ Congratulations Kitties! It's a guy! Sorry Goons, better luck next time~" She stood on top of the desk and pointed towards the door. "Open sesame!"
