After an acapella version of 'Be Our Guest' sung by some of the students, family day finally started. The front yard of the school was filled with students and their families, all talking and laughing with each other. The place was decorated and had tables set up along with tables full of food and drinks.

Kalia went over to where she noticed the four VKs standing at. She giggles when she saw Carlos and Jay were using the chocolate fountain. "Hey, guys." She greets, standing by Evie. She smiles at Dude in Evie's arms and scratches him behind the ear. "Hi, Dude."

"That was a great performance." Evie commented, smiling at her.

"Thanks, Eve." Kalia smiles back at her. "Carlos," She glances at the white and black-haired boy with an amusing smile. He looks up at her with a sheepish smile, slightly embarrassed since he now had chocolate around his mouth. "If you're okay with it, I would love it if you could meet my parents."

Carlos' eyes widen and his heart began to race. "Oh. Now?"

"Actually, there's something I need to tell you right now in private." Kalia admits. "We can talk to my parents later."

Carlos nodded in response, getting a napkin off the table to clean his face. He sets the napkin back down on the table before he quickly followed Kalia as she started to walk off to an area with less people.

"So, what's up?" Carlos asked, sending her a small smile as he did his best to try to hide his nerves.

"I know that you spelled me." Kalia replied.

Carlos' eyes widen and a look of panic forms on his face. "K-Kalia, listen, I can explain-"

"If you wanted me to go out with you why did you need to spell me?" Kalia interrupts him, frowning a bit. "You should've just asked me that instead of giving me a cookie that had a love spell in it. I would've said yes."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spell you..." Carlos pauses in the middle of his apology when he realized what she said. He perks up, smiling slightly. "Wait, really?" He shakes his head, mentally telling himself to focus. "I didn't mean to spell you. I just wanted to give you some chocolate chip cookies without any spell in them since I knew you liked them." He rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Mal must've made the cookies with the love spell in it for some reason."

Kalia's eyes widen when he said that. She points at him with a stern look on her face. "Okay, we'll get to that later 'cause I want to know why she would do that." A grimaced expression forms on Carlos face when she said that, he was dreading that conversation. She sighs. "I appreciate the fact you wanted to give me some of my favorite cookies." She smiles slightly. "I still think that's a sweet thing to do."

"Are you mad at me?" Carlos nervously asks. "I-I swear, it was a complete accident."

"I know." Kalia nods. She smiles reassuringly at him, reaching her hand out to him. He looks at her hesitantly before his lips curved into a small smile as he took ahold of her hand. "I'm not mad at you." Carlos sighs with relief, his tense shoulders relaxing. "I just wish you got the right cookie." She joked, laughing along with Carlos.

"So...Um...Are we still boyfriend and girlfriend?"Carlos stammered, looking at her with a hopeful glitn in his eyes.

Kalia smiles at him and kisses his cheek. He stares at her with surprise, his face turning a bright pink as his heart raced. "Yeah, we are. If you're okay with that."

"More than okay with it." Carlos smiled widely.

Kalia giggles a bit and gestures with a nod of her head. "Come on, I'll introduce you to my parents now."
