Y/N had been looking forward to this picnic with Alex all week. She had carefully chosen the perfect spot, a peaceful clearing in the park surrounded by trees and wildflowers. As they laid out their blanket and unpacked their basket, Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her.

Alex had brought all of her favorite foods, from fresh fruit to gourmet sandwiches. They chatted and laughed as they ate, enjoying each other's company and the warmth of the sun on their faces.

As they finished their meal, Y/N leaned back against the blanket and closed her eyes, feeling the gentle breeze on her skin. Alex took the opportunity to pull out her guitar, strumming a few chords before launching into a beautiful melody.

Y/N listened in awe as Alex's fingers danced across the strings, her voice soft and sweet. It was as if the world around them had disappeared, leaving only the two of them and the music.

When Alex finished her song, Y/N opened her eyes and smiled. "That was beautiful," she said.

Alex grinned, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Thanks," she said. "I've been working on that one for a while."

They spent the rest of the afternoon talking and laughing, enjoying the beauty of the park and the warmth of each other's company. As the sun began to set, they packed up their things and started to make their way back home.

As they walked, Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness creeping in. She didn't want this day to end, didn't want to say goodbye to Alex just yet.

But just as she was about to speak up, Alex took her hand, pulling her to a stop. "Hey," she said, looking into Y/N's eyes. "I had a great time today."

Y/N's heart leapt at the words, and she smiled up at Alex. "Me too," she said. "I'm really glad we did this."

Alex leaned in, her lips brushing against Y/N's in a soft, sweet kiss. It was brief, but it left Y/N feeling breathless and dizzy with emotion.

As they pulled away, Alex smiled. "We'll have to do this again sometime," she said.
