I walk through the days with a shadow,
The future looming, a question mark in tow.
What will I be? Where will I go?
The path ahead, unknown, a territory to grow.
I've tried on hats, illusions and schemes,
Occupations, titles, but nothing it seems,
Fits me like a glove, nor ignites my dreams,
Leaves me bewildered, frustrated, at times it seems.
What if the future is a blank slate,
A canvas all mine, with no set fate?
An explorer, creator, I could innovate,
Give voice to ideas, and let go of debate.
Perhaps the meaning of life is not what I do,
But rather who I am, what's within my true hue.
I'll let go of pressure and simply pursue
Moments that measure, inspire and renew.
The future is scary, but I won't let it define,
The course of my life, its depth and its shine.
I'll embrace mystery, let my passions align,
And trust that my journey will be nothing short of divine.
