That day I wrote a letter of approval and sent it across to Jung Mansion. As a reply he requested to take me on a date the next day. That was the first step. Well I don't know the exact days when Sooyoung came but of course she will come around 2-3 days later. It's better I get engaged to Hoseok.
Suddenly there was a knock of my room signaling the arrival of Jisoo. "My lady, the second prince, honorable Jeon Jungkook has arrived to meet you." She added making my eyes grow double in size. I gulped as I wondered how would he react when he hears about my approval to Jung's wedding proposal.
I nodded to her and dressed in a proper gown and walked to meet him. "Your Highness, it's an honor to make your acquaintance" I added as I sat down after bowing. Jungkook seemed like he was trying to give me a smile but nodded with a soft look. "I have come here since the honorable crown prince had personally sent me to give you a message. He wishes to invite you to a royal dinner party. Please bring along Jimin as well." I looked at him surprised.
"May I inquire as to the purpose of your gracious invitation to the dinner party, Your Honour?" I asked. "Brother said he will be making a very important decision. Thus your presence will be awaited." Jungkook added standing up. "Might I have the pleasure of knowing the scheduled date for the dinner, Your Honour?" I asked standing up myself.
"Tomorrow 7 pm." My eyes widened listening to him. "I apologize for the short notice, as I myself was informed of this engagement quite recently." He added playing his cuff. Wait Jungkook had this habit of playing with his cuff when he was nervous or lying. I wrote this trait myself to add more depth in his character.
Why is he nervous or is he lying? I looked at him softly and didn't question before speaking, "There is no need for apologies, Your Highness. Rest assured, I will be in attendance at the event" I added causing him to smile making my eyes look at him more dreamily. What a lovely smile. I was dying to see him smile. "I must take my leave now. Thank you for the gracious hospitality." He added and I wondered how will I manage both the date and dinner party.
