It was over. Voldmeort was dead. The war was really over. Well, for the most part. There was still the matter of rounding up all of the death eaters and going through trials for those who claimed to have switched sides or been under the imperius curse. This unfortunately meant Draco too. Sophie knew this and ran to look for him hoping she would find him before it was too late; the aurors were already swarming the castle.

She didn't know how she could have lost sight of him, but he hadn't apparently lost her. He grabbed her and apparated somewhere.

"But how did you?" Sophie was confused thinking that it wasn't possible to apparate in Hogwarts grounds.

"The spell only stays as long as the person who had cast it is alive. When Dumbledore died, it had disappeared for a while too and with Snape now gone, it's not gone until the next headmaster recasts the spell," he explained.

"Draco, why did you take me to the black lake?"

"Do you remember our first real date, on Valentine's day last year?"

Sophie nodded.

"That night after I went back to my dorm I started thinking and I think that moment is when I realized I loved you, but I didn't know what it was yet. Then that night, when you left the hospital wing and told me you loved me, I had known for a while that for a fact what I felt was love. That night made me realize something though. After you left I told myself I would marry you, and Sophie, that's what I'm going to do," Draco got down on one knee, "Sophie Selwyn, I know it's early, but this whole war has made me realize that you can lose anyone at any moment. Will you be my wife?"

Sophie of course had said yes.

Draco and his mother were the first pardoned, they spent less than a day detained and never were put into Azkaban thanks to Harry. However, Lucius and Sophie's parents were locked up and were not going to be let out anytime in the foreseeable future. Sophie really hadn't cared much about this in the first place since she had already come to terms with the fact that she most likely would never see her parents again after defying them.

Emory eventually got the chance to talk to Harry about her sort of relation to him. About an hour after the war Emory was about to find Harry when he made his way back to Hogwarts with Ron and Hermione.

*Flashback*

"Harry, wait! I need to talk to you. Please, Harry, it's about Sirius."

Harry finally turned around and went to talk to her.

"What is it Gaunt?"

"Don't catch a tone with me, I know I'm related to Voldemort, but I helped you. Besides, you shouldn't talk to your god sister like that anyways," Emory snapped.

"I don't have a god sister, what are you talking about?"

"I know Sirius is your god father Harry. I know he wasn't bad."

"Again what does that have to do with anything?" Harry asked.

"Are you daft? Sirius is my dad."

Harry scoffed, "Sirius didn't have a daughter. He would've told me."

"He didn't know. I was born after he went to Azkaban."

"Emory, that makes no sense. You would be a fifth year then. He went to Azkaban after August 1981, you would have had to be born before that."

"I- I was. I was born August 29th, right before the cutoff. That makes no sense. My mum said he was my dad, maybe he's not. I'm sorry if I wasted your time. I have to go talk to my mum."
