It was six years after their wedding and Sophie had just gotten home from a day out. She had been with Emory practically all day, but they did part ways for some of it.
Sophie and Draco had been living in the manor. They didn't mind living with Narcissa as she mostly did everything for them and the house was so big there was no reason to move out and leave her there alone.
Draco was in the kitchen with his mother when Sophie pulled him aside and to their room. She said she had a surprise for him, but when she pulled it out he had no idea what it was.
"Funny, when Hermione gave Ron one of these he didn't know either. I wouldn't have if she hadn't told me about it if I'm being honest?" Sophie laughed.
"Well what is it, love?"
"I was talking to Hermione the other day at the Notts, you know Emory and Theo's place near London, and she was telling me about a muggle doctor. She said that when she told Ron that she was going to have Rose she went to a muggle doctor and got a picture taken of the baby inside of her and I thought it was a good idea so that's what I did," she explained.
"I'm not sure I follow."
"Are you daft? Hermione gave one of these to Ron to tell her they were having a baby. I left Emory today to get one too."
"Are you saying?" Draco's face lit up.
Sophie nodded her head and Draco lept up with joy hugging her.
