A few days later.

Evening, 05:15 pm - Danielle's dormitory.

Sofia puts a large package of fried chicken and 2 servings of Cheese Tteokboki on the living room table.
Minji and Hanni approached her enthusiastically and sat on the sofa, next to Haerin and Danielle.

"Ok guys, today we are celebrating Haerin's qualification to the finals, and tomorrow after the finals we will celebrate Haerin's win of the 1st place in the national scientific competition!" she clapped her hands.

Everyone cheered happily.

Haerin chuckled, "You guys really believe in me."
Minji held the girl's shoulder, "Because we know you never let us down buddy." she looked at her proudly.
"And you answered all the questions with perfect scores, I can see Professor Woo's nostrils and head swelling with pride." she added.

Hyein appeared from the entrance, "I bought some soju!" she exclaimed happily.
Minji immediately stood up and ran to greet her, "You're the best sister." her eyes sparkled at the plastic bag containing several bottles of soju in her sister's left hand.

"Not today Hyein, tomorrow we still have to get up early, the competition starts at eight. Save it for tomorrow's celebration ok." said Sofia.
"Ok Unnie." the girl slapped Minji's hand that had gone into the bag to get a bottle, she then turned towards the refrigerator.

Sofia liked how Hyein immediately obeyed her words, what a sweet girl.

"Lately she's been listening to you more, what sorcery did you use on her?" Minji sat back down next to Hanni, rubbing her hand that was slapped.

Sofia opened one of the packages of Cheese Tteokboki, steam immediately billowing out when the lid was opened, Sofia inhaled the smell of the food and nodded in satisfaction.
"You always tease her, and I give her affection. Which do you think is more memorable for her?" she smiled smugly.

Danielle handed her a fork, which she quickly took. She poked one of the Tteokboki, blew on it for a while and ate it, "This is better than escargot."

Minji gave her an annoyed look, but a moment later she grinned, "But you still haven't asked her out." she mocked.

Danielle chuckled.

"I have to be patient if I want to get a gem." Sofia replied calmly, not provoked by Minji's teasing.
The taller girl laughed loudly, "She's not a gem, she's a pebble for being so stupid and insensitive."
"Who's insensitive?" Hyein appeared from behind them, her eyes sparkling at the sight of fried chicken.

"You, dummy. Sofia always puts you ahead of us, even Danielle. Don't you know that she...hmmmpppp."
Hanni kissed her, she pulled her lips when Minji was about to return the kiss, "Minji, aren't you tired of always talking, let's eat." she smiled, she took 2 pieces of fried chicken and gave one to the dumbfounded Minji.

"Let them progress on their own okay" Hanni whispered and rubbed her arm.
"Okay."

Danielle stand up, "I'm going to the convenience store, I need to buy pads, my period is coming up and I forgot to stock up." she said.
Haerin followed her, "I'll go with you.", "I'll just be a minute." Danielle kissed her.
"It's okay, I want to." Haerin smiled and kissed her back.
"Gosh, have mercy on those who are single." Minji held her chest and pointed at Sofia and Hyein.

Danielle rolled her eyes and pulled Haerin's hand towards the dormitory door.

Dusk was already falling as Danielle and Haerin walked towards the university's back gates.
After from the convenience store, Danielle told Haerin that she wanted to eat ice cream and took her to their favorite ice cream stand behind the university. So they went there, bought some and had a chat.
