                  CHAPTER TWO

I couldn't sleep all night. I remember I came to bed around 3 am after a quick shower only to toss and turn for another two hours. My body was aching in pain but my mind was restless, processing the recent events.

Who could have thought that a lot could happen in a single night in my life, the worst part was; Damien.

His aura is mysterious and baffling, my mind was signaling to me that he is a danger, if not now, he could become one in the future. A man who has a country club in the city lives miles away from the presence of humans that too in a remote area, this knowledge wasn't settling well with me.

There is something that he could be hiding from others here. And I don't wanna be the one to figure it out.

I kept my novel aside, which I was reading instead of sleeping. I walked up to the bathroom, freshened up under a hot water shower, and turned off the tap.

Wearing a simple floral mustard-colored dress, I combed my hair in a French single braid, dumping the moisturizer over my skin, lazily. It's almost 7 in the morning and Sania wakes up around 10 am. I have enough time to prepare her breakfast. If I don't, I have to go through another round of scolding which isn't on my to-do list today.

I descended the stairs and was on my way to the kitchen when something, more likely someone caught my eye. I wasn't able to see anything properly due to the distance I was standing. I stepped closer to the entrance door which was left ajar and wandered outside to take a proper look. I froze in my place, a few meters away. I immediately recognized Damien standing behind his Hummer with two legs seeming to be of a woman wrapped around his torso, no he can’t be….my suspicion got accurate when the moans of that woman were transformed into loud groans, hinting at the fact, he was on advancing his swiftness of thrusts.

He can’t be fucking openly, can he?

I don’t know about him but all the shame I had in me appeared on my face and my breath slowed down in mortification. Before I could avert my eyes off the dirty scene happening in front of me, Damien caught me looking in his direction but it didn’t make him budge any bit nor did he keep his eyes off me, he continued the sex as if he doesn’t care….or was he purposely didn’t stop to show me how good he can fuck? A smirk came across the corner of his lips as If I guessed correctly.

It wasn’t the right time to come to conclusions. I sprinted directly inside the house, to the kitchen, bringing out whatever vegetables I saw in his fridge, in an attempt to distract myself from what I saw a couple of minutes ago.

Unfortunately, I wasn't completely able to block his image of having sex out of my mind, no matter how hard I tried. But anyhow, I kept myself busy making breakfast.
