Chapter 3

"Finally, you're here!" Steph says enthusiastically, standing in front of Alto Bar, well thank god she's in a good mood today, otherwise i'd be hearing a lecture by now.

"Sorry, some guy knocked into me, and well, it's a long story" I say out of breath from my running to get here in time.

"It's alright, you tell me all about it later, come on, let's get inside so i can introduce you to the band". She says hurrying, pushing me inside the place, which it looks a lot like Sins, but the lights are softer. We make our way to the backstage where we found 4 guys, all of them scattered around the room, each one of them seating in a different manner. And there's 2 girls standing closer to one of them.

The guy closer to the girls has dark brown hair and eyes, and is wearing glasses, he has broad shoulder, and is very good looking. The guy seating next to him, also has brown but light hair, but his body is slimmer then the previous guy, and the other two guys are seating in the other side of the room, one has black dark hair and brown skin, and the last guy beside him, has the most different hair color between them, a very bright neon red. I look at the two girls in the room, one is a dark brown kinky haired girl with sepia reddish brown skin and the other is a curly red haired girl with green eyes and white slightly pale skin.

"Hey guys, this is As!" Steph introduces me. They all look at my direction, and i look at them with a politely smile. The slim guy with light brown hair, gets up from his chair and comes to me, i'm a bit startled when he wraps his arms around my shoulders, and pull me into a hug. I just stand there for a second with big round eyes, but then i react to the sudden gesture and wrap my arms around him, to be polite.

"Hello, i'm Eric, the bands drummer, Steph showed me your videos, you're really good... and pretty" He tells me kindly but flirtatious, still squeezing me.

"Uhm, nice to meet you Eric, and thank you". I say struggling a bit, but still trying to sound kind.

"Alright Eric, enough of hugging, you scare people that way" The guy with glasses tells him, standing up from his seat, and unwrapping Eric's arms out of me. He turns his attention to me, and gives me a kind smile, after successfully getting me out of the bear hug i was into.

"Sorry about him, he's a big hugger. I'm Simon Lewis, i play bass, and this is Kirk, and Matt" He tells me pointing at the black haired guy and the bright neon red haired guy. Both of them waves at me kindly, and i wave back, smiling friendly, saying hi.

"And this is my best friend Clary Fray, she's our today's roadie and this is Maureen" He points to the red haired girl and successively to the dark brown haired one. Clary comes to me smiling friendly and stretch her hand for me to shake, which i do, smiling back.

"Hi As, Simon showed me your video singing, you have an amazing voice" She says, and i blush a little with the compliment, but makes me really happy to hear.

"Right? I always tell her that, but she doesn't believe me." Steph says smugly putting an arm around my shoulders and shaking me a little, and i chuckle at her.

"Thank you Clary, this is really kind of you to say, i hope you enjoy my performance today as well!" I tell her thankfully.

"Oh yeah! You nailed in the video!" Simon says, i look to the side and see Maureen glaring at me and i can tell is out of jealous of Simon's compliment towards me. So i just give her a little smile, and i get closer to her, since she was the only one who didn't greet me.

"Hi, Maureen? I'm As, nice to meet you." I give her an welcoming smile, and touches her shoulder in a comforting manner. It seems it works, cause when i do, she seems to lose tension and her mood changes to a more friendly one, her eyes soften and she tries to smile back.
